I want to give a complete and honest review. To be fair, the receptionists and Dr. Willis are fantastic! I really liked him and I’m sad that I have to find a new doctor. The reason for the review is because of one of Dr. Willis’ nurses. At my last appointment, she severely overstepped and tried to “scold” me. Even the nurse practitioner said that she overstepped and handled it. However, the same nurse was rude again today. I have severe anxiety, which is in my medical records, and she makes me feel very uncomfortable. All I wanted was an apology and we could have moved on. But instead, it was easier to just send me to another doctor. Which is fine. If she couldn’t lower herself to apologize for her mistake, then I do need to go somewhere else. But again, I love Dr. Willis and his nurse practitioner, even though she was short with me today as well, so if you want to see him, my advice is to just keep the interactions with the nurses short and to the point.

After 4 1/2 years of discomfort, various tests, treatments, doctor visits, incorrect diagnoses, giving up in frustration, starting again blah, blah, blah…after 1 visit I feel an incredible difference. In my case this did not involve pain medication or shots, just a very knowledgeable doctor who took the time to review my history, listen to my symptoms and provide a level of care I had trouble finding elsewhere.

I love Dr. David Evans. He is so thorough in his evaluation, and he has a great bedside manner and a very great personality. He has helped manage my pain greatly! He is excellent in doing epidurals in my back. He has never hurt me, and he talks to you during them, so it makes me forget that he is putting a needle in my back. Definitely recommend him! His nurse Carmen, she is super awesome too! And so is Mary.

This office from the front desk to the nursing staff and lastly the doctors are professional but kind and understanding . I have been and are treated with respect and compassion with each visit. I am grateful I was referred to this clinic. They treat the whole person not just your diagnosis. They're knowledge and understanding of often complex health problems is always taken care of with treatment that is explained to me so I can understand it and it's done with competent and compassionate care. I am seen in a timely manner and always leave knowing I have been heard concerning any problems I may have . It's one doctor's office I don't dread going to because I know they care about me and are working to improve my life in every aspect.

Saw Dr. Evans yesterday. He is a very nice man but does not listen to his patients and is very inflexible. I have had back pain 30 years and in that time I have acute flares that are so bad it is difficult for me to even walk. When I was still in the military I was referred to Pain Management in Florida. The Docs there did a thorough exam and looked at my MRI themselves. Dr. Evans did a very limited exam and said “I don’t see anything in your MRI report that would make me do a procedure on you.” Maybe that’s because you didn’t look at the films yourself.” This is a huge no no for surgeons and interventional radiologists. The first visit was a waste, I was offered an OTC ointment to rub on my back. Hello, people don’t go thru the trouble of seeing their PCM to get a referral to a specialist just to be offered an OTC med. Like I said earlier I have had back pain 30 years. If an ointment could fix me I would not have come to see you doc.

Also, I did not want pain meds. I told them even if they offered pain meds I would not take them. I wanted a procedure that has worked well in the past and kept me pain free for over a year. If only docs would listen to their patients history healthcare in the USA would be so much better.

Everyone treats you so kind, they make you feel calm and they discuss anything with you. I lost my husband 2 years ago and every time i see Morgan and Dr. Willis they always are so thoughtful. They are always kind to me. They understand i always came with my husband and it was very hard for me to go there without him. But they both helped me through the rough times i would break down crying because the chair beside me was empty and they would both be so caring, not cold like that didn't matter. And if they see this I want to thank you both again so much for helping me through those rough times. And thank you for always encouraging me to go forward.
