August of 2024, I had a total knee replacement surgery from the skilled hands of Dr. Zapf. I never had major surgery before and was concerned about pain management, the results, the recovery, etc. Dr Zapf and his staff were extremely organized, and thoughtful. They patiently addressed all of my concerns and my surgery went seamlessly. I have a very happy and strong knee now. Dr. Z has a wonderful bedside manner and a good sense of humor which I think is extremely important! I have been so impressed with the care I received from everyone. I highly recommend Dr. Zapf.

Had a right ACL replacement in 2022, Dr. Zapf did an amazing job! I’m a high country hiker and trail runner. 2024 I hiked up and down Mt Whitney in 14 hrs. My right knee seems better than my left. Thank You, Dr Zapf!

This Dr Zapf.has done a phenomenal job for me. He has gone above and beyond taking care of my knee issue. He has worked with me, explained everything to me and my wife and has been a phenomenal asset for our Desert in general if you’re looking for a good quality surgeon that understands and knows what he’s doing. I met with several surgeons about having surgery
and was not confident about the care I would receive from them. When I met with Dr. Zapf that all changed. His caring explanation of what I was facing, gave me the confidence to have the surgery. I am glad I chose him for my hip replacement surgery , and I’m very grateful to Dr. Zapf and his staff for the excellent care. I highly recommend them.

This review is for the la quinta office.
Dr.Zapf replaced my left knee and it is now a 10. Thank you Dr. Zaph.
Prior to being a patient of Dr. Zaph, I was a patient of Taos Orthopedic in Taos, New mexico which was part of the team that managed the US Olympic ski teams orthopedic care. They kept my knee in great shape for many years, but eventually it needed to be replaced when I was living in the desert area. After researching orthopedic surgeons, I found dr. Zapf and learned he completed his fellowship with Taos Orthopedic, which was a positive for me knowing their high level of care.
Dr. Zapf is considerate, understanding, caring and will take his time with you. Dr. Zapf will be hands on with you in the office. He is definitely well worth the wait.
His nurse naydelin is great, super caring. Great staff. I loved this office

Dr. Zapf has replaced my left hip last October of 2023. He just recently repaired my left shoulder the end of July 2024. Both of these injuries were caused by a HUGE metal gate falling on me September of 2022. I am finally done with my surgeries. Dr. Zapf did an excellent job. My hip is good. My shoulder is recovering. He has bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything and answers my questions. His staff is very nice and did their best to get me scheduled and on the books. I was not always pleasant with the staff because I was in a lot of pain and wanted to get my surgeries out of the way. They handled me with grace. I brag about Dr. Zapf to my friends, family and anyone that asks who my doctor is. He is by far one of the best doctors I know and I have been through a lot in my 62 yrs of age. Thank you Dr. Zapf and his staff very much.

His staff is great! I love how caring his nurses are, naydelin, athziri, and Melissa!

Just saw Dr. Zapf in LQ office and I can see why several friends recommended him. Xrays were done in the office, which was so convenient. Dr. Zapf gave his time. He listened to my concerns and was very upfront about what my options would be. He was professional, caring and funny. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zapf. All of staff was very friendly as well.
