I called the radiology department to schedule two appointments for an order placed by my doctor. The scheduling desk was not only unhelpful but also confusing. Instead of doing his job professionally, he became condescending and started behaving as if I were someone he felt comfortable treating badly, rather than a client. I decided to end the call and told him I would call back another day to make the appointments, as he had turned a simple task into something unnecessarily difficult and the experience extremely unpleasant. This was an unprofessional and unacceptable way to treat someone at a reputable medical facility. I will definitely be filing an official complaint.

I cannot begin to speak highly enough of Dr. Ghostine and his staff. My mother sought him for back surgery after decades of back problems including prior surgeries. The level of care he and his staff exhibited was a blessing to our family. He not only met our needs, but exceeded them well beyond what we would have asked of him. I am blessed to say that for the first time in twenty years, I saw my mother walk upright and pain free shortly after surgery. His bedside manner reflects true servant talent in that he continued a high level of care throughout the procedure and follow up appointments, as did his staff. To watch my father cry and state that Dr. Ghostine had restored his faith in the medical community was powerful to me and reflected my own thoughts. If you require surgery, I cannot recommend that you seek his services highly enough.

Very clean professional health care facility. The receptionist was pleasant and able to get the appointment set up efficiently. The waiting area is open and has a lot of chairs / sofas separated for waiting. The health care staff is professional and gets the x-ray imaging done efficiently.

I had the unfortunate misfortune of visiting this medical place recently, and it was nothing short of a nightmarish ordeal. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, hoping for a quick and efficient consultation.

First and foremost, the scheduled appointments being consistently one hour late is completely unacceptable. I understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise, but this level of disregard for patients' time is simply outrageous.

The management of this medical facility seems to have no concept of how valuable time is for patients, many of whom are likely juggling busy schedules and important commitments. My precious time was wasted without any regard, leaving me feeling disrespected and devalued.

My recent experience was second to none. The Nurses, Dr’s and Technicians were amazing and took great care of me. They were extremely professional and made me feel like I was their only patient. They even followed up with a phone call to make sure I was doing ok.

First visit to this UCLA imaging center for a CT scan. Sam (the nurse) was very patient and careful with an IV that was difficult. Very clean and bright location, and everyone is very engaging, accommodating, and cheerful. We went for our vaccinations at the regular clinic last week, and it was very organized, efficient and quick. Great experience.

Very sad to have to write this review.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Agarwal for a few months now and have become very concerned about the healthcare she is providing. Even armed with all of my charts, app chats, pics I’ve sent and countless notes seems complete clueless to my condition.

Here’s a few things that happened today:

1. In a inappropriately rude manner, she claimed it took me weeks to “finally” get an echocardiogram… (But she’s the one who’s orders them.) I went as soon as she ordered it… It was very snarky and out of place. Seemed like gaslighting but for what reason?

2. She asks if I started a medicine in which she prescribed weeks ago!? Of course I did?This is the same medicine we’ve had lengthy conversations about, I’ve had massive skin reactions to, sent in tons of messages through mychart about this, photos about this… She had no idea I started it?

3. She doesn’t read messages sent through mychart. (Very detailed questions and concerns.)

4. She doesn’t review images sent through mychart. (Had no ideas about massive skin irritation and lesions I have from the medicine.)

5. Seemed weirdly upset when wanting to order a cardiac MRI? I’m excited to have it! I told her I’d go today? This is when she brought up the echocardiogram in a manner in which I was preventing it or didn’t want it? I honestly felt as if I was being mistake for another patient?

6. I was hoping to get cleared for a foot surgery but we never got that far today… I have no idea if I can have this surgery now!?

All in all, I’m not sure who reads this, but todays visit was very sad… One of the most concerning I ever had. When I confronted her about her unpreparedness, she raised her voice, stormed out of the office and just left me sitting there… I’ll be reaching out to the medical board today.

The staff and doctors were great! If that's all there was to it, I'd absolutely recommend this place.

However, the financial side of dealing with UCLA Health is a nightmare. I went in for an annual wellness check, but by some alchemy of medical billing, I left with a "Level IV Office Visit". As a result, instead of owing them $0 for an annual check-up under my insurance plan, they claim that I owe $567. After four months of fighting this absurdity, they have granted me a "courtesy" discount of 30%. Swindling and thievery isn't a courtesy, and I recommend all to find a doctor elsewhere.

Edit: Just a fun update that I'm still fighting them on this highway robbery 7 months later! I wish I could give 0 stars to this awful system!
