I see Nadia Shamboti, a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mindpath Calabasas. I'm shocked that Mindpath is a Medi-Cal provider. I have a Medi-Cal health plan while I'm in school, and have come to expect subpar care, especially when it comes to mental health.

Mindpath couldn't be further from subpar care. Everything from the posh office building in Calabasas owned by Will Smith, the beautiful and comfortable interior, the friendly office staff, and most significantly Nadia, a remarkable human being who is kind, caring, exceedingly professional, and easy to talk to, makes this the very best healthcare visit I have ever experienced.

Nadia Shamboti is a special outlier in Medi-Cal healthcare. She is soars far above and beyond any psychiatrist that I have ever seen, even outside of Medi-Cal. Per her advice, I am also going to be seeking out therapy. This advice to compliment psychiatric care with therapy is a hallmark indicator of uncompromised, top-level psychiatric care.

I am grateful to have found Mindpath. They are quite fortunate to have Nadia on board. I could not give them a higher recommendation.

The entire team at Mindpath is fantastic. Dr Markis & Sev did a great job with my treatments and answering any questions I had. I will definitely go back there if I need further sessions in the future.

I would definitely recommend the Mindpath Health group to anyone looking for assistance. My experiences with their Santa Monica & Calabasas locations have been very smooth, and the receptionists at both locations are always friendly and helpful when I call.

Whomever has been having issues with this mental health clinic I beleive it was due to dishonest or distrust in said persons expirence. However in my case I beleive complete transparency and trust in a mental health professional is immensely important when getting to the bottom of mental health matters. My experience here has been such a tremendous help and the Kind Gentleman that saw me was more then lending an open mind and ear. I love the staff and the facility for making me feel so safe in such a insecure time of my life. My gratitude is extended to the upmost threshold and I will be continuing services here. Plus who doesn't like looking at live koi fish 😊

I saw Dr. Matthew Markis for the first time this week. My inital appointment was excellant! He was very patient and interested in my story, taking a full hour to listen. He made a new perscription suggestion, that I will be trying...as needed. Looking forward to my followup appointment in two weeks, will have more to say after that. Oh, also it was really appreciated that he took my AARP UnitedHealthCare Medicare insurance!

Dr Matt Markis is a great doctor. however, when I was trying to get my insurance verified after I changed, their billing department was trying to encourage me to file claims to my insurance and not pay me back if they are approved which is illegal

I'll start by saying Dr Markis was great hence the star. The problem here is my personal information was violated and released to a stranger when that other patient signed in to her account which had all my info. She searched and found me on social media to alert me of this. Of course I was extremely upset as was she. I then signed in to my own account and couldn’t believe what I saw. Now I had another persons info (a man) on mine. Now I can see all his private and personal info. Unbelievable incompetence and breaking of privacy laws. This is absolutely unacceptable.
