I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that they weren’t very welcoming. The lady who checked me in told me the wait would be 1:45 to 2:30, but shortly after, a second lady informed me it had changed to 4 hours. She also tried to push me into doing a virtual visit, claiming it would only take 15 minutes. A third lady came out later to say the wait was actually 3 hours and suggested it would be faster to go online. They close at 6 p.m., and trust me, they will kick you out right on time. This seems to be their usual routine. I felt rushed and not valued as a customer. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. I would leave a zero star. Unfortunately in order to leave a review you need to check on star.

Horrible experience here never will I be coming back. I take in my two year old per doctors order and they tell me it’s a 2-3 hour wait and there’s 5 people ahead me. I wait patiently, I noticed people who came after me were being called in so I ask when my daughter will be seen. They tell me she’s next, so I wait 10 more mins then a couple who had just walked in get called in within just 20 mins of them waiting when they were also a walk in and they were told it would be a 2 hour wait. How are you going to tell me I’m next then call someone else in who came in AFTER me and they were told wait time is two hours. Wasted 4 hours of my life and time and my poor daughter is still not better. I’m a patient kind person who understands when there’s short staff or only one doctor etc, but this was just ridiculous. Don’t recommend coming here you’ll be better off going to the emergency room.

Speaking from someone who worked for UCLA Westwood for almost 10 years in the ER and in clinic with physicians…. And now speaking as a patient seeing an actual PCP… Woodland Hilks has horrible service! They seem overwhelmed at this location even if you’re an actual patient… I’ve tried two providers there that I didn’t feel listened to me at all… ( over a year and a half span) …Maybe if you’re not African American , you’ll have a better experience than I did. The admin staff , MA’s….and nurses were excellent though!

Had my first appointment with my new PCP, 🥼Dr. Gregor DO, at UCLA Health (just across from Crate & Barrel in Woodland Hills) and, so far, NO COMPLAINTS! 💯 It was super easy to book online just a few days out, and for a Sunday morning appointment! Daniel🙂 checked me in, patiently answered my questions, and explained the additional paperwork. (Not gonna lie; the amount of paperwork I filled out online AND in the office was exhaustive) Another smiling PA/Nurse/Tech (can't recall his name🤦🏻‍♀️) got my vitals and reviewed my current meds, then left me to wait just a few minutes for Dr. Gregor. This doc walked in with a smile on his face, took his time with me (1st appt remember) and made me feel genuinely heard, not at all like just another 1 of the many patients I'm sure he'd already seen that day (they open early). Whether you suffer from white coat syndrome😱 as I do, or doctor visits are no big deal for you, I'd encourage you to give Dr. Gregor a try. Everyone I encountered at this practice was cheerful and kind, they're open M-SU, and the lab is open until 8pm.

Review for Immediate Care: My experience with UCLA Health was solid. I got there around 9 as a walk-in and got out around 10:30. For immediate care, this is perfectly acceptable to me. They gave me an estimated wait time of 2 hours and were very transparent as to why they provided that estimate. They told me they had two doctors on rotation for immediate care and I had quite a few people in front of me. Really straight forward. The doctor who saw me was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic - also great conversationalist in general. It was also very convenient to be able to walk across and get my bloodwork done. I don’t know if people in this review section have never been to an urgent/immediate care, but you should expect multiple hours at an urgent care. That’s normal. Especially given that this location is both urgent care and other care physicians. Keep your expectations at a reasonable level, and you will be just fine. This being said, I haven’t been to any of their other doctors, so jury is still out for that.

My mother in law was taken in for leg pain and the amazing doctors at this location found a hip fracture in the search of the leg pain. We are extremely grateful for their knowledge and patience to help us find the underlying issue.
