I'm surprised to read some 1 star reviews. Office staff is really busy and still, they manage to do their best. My doctor is David Desai. He knows his profession; he is kind, understanding and compassionate. He listens to your input, as if one med works for you or not, and why. Dr David Desai is the best psychiatrist in all CA, I love seeing him, so glad he's part of my insurance network.

This place is an absolute disaster. I've been on the same medication for over a decade that causes severe withdrawal if you miss a dose. Ever since I have been doing telehealth visits here, the medication never gets sent to the pharmacy. Every month it's a battle between the pharmacy and the front desk about whether or not a prescription was sent. I've had to go to Urgent Care to get the medication prescribed because this office is so incompetent. They recommended a NEW pharmacy and assured me that there will be no problem...low and behold, this new, stellar pharmacy has no record of me or the medication. I have had to contact the office multiple times in the same day running down answers. All they do is shrug and say, "I don't know what the problem could be".
I'm DONE. For an office that treats people's mental health, they do more harm than good. This office has pushed me to the highest stress and lowest point of mental well-being I have experienced in a long time. You guys are jeopardizing people's SAFETY. DO BETTER.

this place is crazy unorganized. staff are rude when you call sometimes. had some girl tell me ummmmm the wait list is like really long… you still want an appointment? like uh yeah? i guess? that’s why im calling. called 2 months later for an update and spoke with someone else who got me an appointment scheduled a week away lol sounded confused when i said i was on a wait list

either they hate their job or their maliciously incompetent. for the few appointments i went to id get 4-5 calls asking me to confirm. on top of texts messages doing the same thing.

as for the providers, i think all they care about is getting paid for your appointment.
when i couldn’t make an appointment, i let one of the girls that called to confirm know. then on the day off appointment, guess what, another confirmation call lol

then AFTER that the therapist called me directly and grilled me for not being able to make it. felt like a car salesman talking about how i could do this or that.

if you want a comfortable friendly experience, this ain’t it

I hate to post about my personal medical experience publicly, but more than that, feel the need to protect other prospective patients. I have no words to describe the malpractice, cruelty, and anguish Dr Desai caused me by his behavior. He never once asked me about how my health / life was and was immediately combative and accusatory about some truly wild things (just two of many possible examples). See anyone else if you need medical help.

Ernest Takang is the worst provider I've ever seen. It's 12:18 pm I've been waiting for his call since 9:55, and he prioritized eating lunch instead of calling me. I've called this office five times today, each time I'm routed somewhere different. I've spoken to Penelope and Cassandra twice each. I'm not sure what I need to do to actually get help from you guys this is the worst mental health experience I've ever had. Your Google review should not even have a 1 in front of it.

UPDATE: this place will kick you out if you write a bad review and are still attending their facilities. I had an appointment today at noon and I called to check why they haven’t called me and they randomly said that I need to find another doctors office because I spoke rudely about them lol I have never witnessed this kind of unprofessionalism in my 32 years of life lol

I’m so over this place! The only reason I’m at this clinic is because I followed my dr, dr azel, she is very nice and I like her a lot but she’s changed company’s four times now and she’s been at this one the last three years and it’s been hell. I never get called on time ever! Then they will just randomly schedule me again and it will be when I work or something. I always go without my meds because they don’t answer the phone. I’ve been calling them for three hours straight and no answer. Oh but when they need a copy of my new id they called me three times a day!!!! So funny how the tables turn when they need something! It is illegal for them to charge your insurance if they haven’t seen you and they do it anyways. Every month it’s such a hassle just to get my meds

Telehealth calls with the doctor are only about 2 minutes average length and they bill your insurance for 30-39 minutes. The staff is is very unorganized and dismissive to my requests and needs. They do not send receipts when I've asked for them many times. They do not call me back, they do not respond to emails. One time the doctor forgot to refill my prescription and the staff couldn't help me get a hold of her, so I had to spend 4 days experiencing withdrawals. Overall I feel very disrespected by the staff at Desai.
