Dr. Davidson performed my Lasik procedure back in August, 2022. I had been a long time glasses wearer and they just became too cumbersome. I had glasses for reading, glasses for work and glasses to drive! After having my Lasik consult to see if I was a candidate, I scheduled my procedure. The staff was knowledgeable and very kind, answering all my questions and put my mind at ease. Dr. Davidson was great! He talked me through the procedure, step by step, letting me know what he was doing. Now, I no longer wear glasses and I wish I had done this sooner! Dr. Davidson has my 5-Star rating and comes highly recommended!

Dr. Davidson came highly recommended and definitely lived up to his excellent reputation. I have worn thick glasses and contact lenses full time since 2nd grade.
Dr. Davidson corrected my vision from 20/400 to 20/15 and I am able to see accurately for the first time in my life without the irritation of my contact lenses. Procedure was amazingly easy, all staff highly professional. I had no down time or swelling after the procedure. I could see accurately immediately after exiting the surgery room. I highly recommend Dr. Davidson, and have referred several friends who are considering the procedure.

I had cataract surgery yesterday and it is truly a miracle. There was no pain at all and today I can see better than with my glasses. Dr. Davidson knew exactly what would work best for me and was very thorough and professional. He also did LASIK for me in 2011 and I had perfect vision until the cataracts formed. Awesome experience! The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Everyone I met went above and beyond to help me get what I needed. I had been dreaming about this since childhood and was very nervous, but the surgeon and staff were great about explaining every aspect of the procedure and relieving my anxiety. The facility is clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. I never thought I could ever boast having 20/20 vision after having such awful eyesight, my left eye used to be -10! Highly recommend this place!

I had worn contacts for 13 years before deciding to undergo the Lasik procedure. A month before the surgery I had found myself yet again with pink eye. My overwear of contacts had caused horrible infections my whole life and this time I had it! I made the decision that day, even at my young age of 22. I went online to look into it and saw that prices were all over the place and found some scary stories.

A friend of mine told me about Dr. Davidson and so I did some research on the facility. I live in Orange, so the drive to Camarillo had to be worth it for me to choose them. After talking to their office and finding out about their life time commitment (kinds like insurance on your eyes....which no one else has) I was 100% sure I wanted to put my eye sight in their hands ONLY. They sent me to the local Nvision office in Newport Beach for my pre appointments so I wouldn't have to drive out to them multiple times, and then corresponded with them to make sure everything would be set for day of surgery. They also told me that they work with my optometrist, so I could have all follow up appointments with him. It felt like a family of doctors that worked together to make me feel comfortable....I mean this is my eye sight we are talking about.

Day of my surgery I made the two hour drive to Camarillo, which was more then well worth it. Their office had offered to pay a night stay at a hotel around the corner so that I wouldn't have to endure the drive home after surgery and could just go there to rest my eyes. I have never heard of an office being so kind! When I got there it was clean and I enjoyed some snacks to help calm my nerves. I met with the really tall Dr. Davidson and he went through the procedure step by step so I knew what to expect and answered all of my questions. He made me feel comfortable even after I had asked probably 15 specific questions. My procedure took approx. 16 min. (which I know because I have the whole thing caught on video via mother dearest). After I sat up I looked at the clock and immediately saw a difference in my vision.

Then I was finished! I took the picture I posted with Dr. Davidson minutes after the procedure then followed instruction to sleep the rest of the day. Next morning I came back in where the manager and girls asked how I was doing and I went through some tests to make sure everything was starting to heal correctly. Two days after the procedure I was at work without contacts or glasses. Best decision I've ever made!

Very pleased with the process at NVISION. The surgeon and doctor were a great team and made me feel comfortable, confident and excited! They answered all of my questions and made me feel less anxious. I can see 20/20 now and it feels great to wake up and not need contacts or glasses! Definitely recommend!

I had lasik done here almost two months ago and it truly changed my life! I've had glasses since kindergarten, and have no memories whatsoever of what it's like to wake up every day and see the world around me. It was worth every single penny. Just thinking about it makes me tear up. I can't express enough in words what it's like to go from a -9.00 rx to 20/20 vision. I was really, really nervous, but Dr. Davidson was confident and reassuring. After talking with him, I knew I was in good hands for the surgery. Plus, he talks you through the whole procedure, so you know exactly what's happening! He puts all of your worries at ease, and is honestly one of the best doctors I've ever met. I couldn't be happier with choosing him for my surgery!

The only thing I didn't like, was that I wasn't monitored afterwards like they originally told me. They let me leave as soon as I got off the table, and I had a pretty bad panic attack later. But all in all, the end result was more than worth it (and what really mattered anyway), and I'd still highly recommend them!

I recently had LASIK done on both eyes and it was the best decision I've ever made. I didn't realize what a hassle contacts were until I didn't need them anymore. It's the small day to day things that continue to impress me. I am able to take a nap without worrying about taking contacts out or take my dog out in the middle of the night and actually be able to see what I'm doing. My only wish is that I had done this sooner. Dr. Davidson and his staff made me feel very comfortable the entire time. I was nervous but I knew I had an amazing surgeon with years or experience working on me. I did the procedure without taking Xanax and I was still very comfortable. I do recommend taking Xanax afterwards and sleeping for the rest of the day/night. I woke up the next morning seeing clearly without any pain or burning. I am a nurse that works in the eye care field and I can say this procedure has made me more sympathetic to my patients. I know how nervous I was with a procedure I'm familiar with so I can only imagine how other patients must feel. I can honestly say that LASIK with Dr Davidson was painless and much easier than I thought it would be. I hope this helps any potential patients.
