I saw Dr. Amy Clark at this location over a year ago but am only just now leaving a review because I have been trying to work with their office for that entire period of time to correct a bill so that insurance could cover the $800 cost of what was supposed to be a routine preventive screening. The way this office coded the testing prevented my insurance from paying it.

I ended up calling the lab that I was being billed by, my insurance, and the office's billing department multiple times over that year only to be constantly stonewalled by THIS office where the change of coding needed to take place. I understand Dr. Clark is no longer at this location, but the billing department is incredibly deceitful and unhelpful as well.

I was constantly told there was a special billing person for the lab in their office that I was never allowed to talk to. The last time I spoke to their billing department, I was told they would submit the corrections and that I should not call ANYONE to make inquiries about it going forward. Several months after, I contact the lab to check the status of my bill and absolutely nothing has changed once again. They received nothing from the doctor's office.

I have no idea why their billing staff would tell me not to monitor the status of my bill while lying to me about the actions they would take, but I can only assume malicious intent considering how many times I have tried to contact them and clearly explained exactly what I need after speaking with the lab and my insurance. I last contacted them in February of this year and never received a response. But listen to all of the reviews if you can. You will receive absolutely no communication or assistance if they can help it.

Dr. Iqbal is most professional, knowledgeable doctor we have seen. He truly cares about his patients and takes his time to listen , plans best treatment plan! Highly recommend him as your family doctor!

I am so grateful for this hard working amazing compassionate group of Health Care Workers, Dr. Amy Clark has been the best doctor my daughter has ever had. She makes sure she builds a relationship with her patients and she CARES. I will always recommend Dr. Clark for Adults and definitely Children ❤️

Dr. Amy Clark is my assigned doctor through Medicaid. While I understand that Medicaid patients aren't something doctors want to deal with, until I get certain health problems dealt with (which I can't do without medical care), I can't afford other insurance. I called the office early July and was told that Dr. Clark would need to look at my information and do some sort of "screening", and that they would call me back to make an appointment. I was told this would take approximately one business day. After three weeks of waiting, I called back, and was told that they will call me once they decide if they can take me, and that I need to stop calling (this was only my second call). It has now been over a month with no call. If they can't take me, why can't they just say so, so that I can spend my time finding another doctor?

If I could rate zero stars I would. All the reviews that were negative were correct. The lady that did the intake was super nice but Amy Clark was beyond rude. I simply needed a referral and wanted me to have alot of unnecessary X-rays and tests run. I have that right to decide if I dont want something done. She was irriated because I did not want to have a cat scan and MRI when I came in for another issue. She automatically started trying to send me for all these other things without even getting my blood work back. Because I didn't want unessary things done she got upset with me and literally told me in front of my 15 year old son..might I add..that "im not smart enough to be your Dr" in a sarcastic way and kicked me out of her office. Im disgusted in 38 years I have never in my life been treated so badly. Do not go!

Rarely return messages left and today April 11th. We were advising them that they billed the wrong insurance company and my wife was treated with non-professional lip service and poor attitude. The gal said it was not her job...blurted out a phone number and hung up. No caring to be helpful but instead a very cocky attitude and I would like the problem corrected or will seek an attorney. Your unwillingness to provide proper customer service is a shame. Philip Smolen

Thank goodness I’ve not had these negative experiences at this office.
I go to the Florence office and my doctor and his staff are amazing. They’re super kind and listen to your needs. Dr. Iqbal is the best!

This place is a joke!!! I had a appointment today when I get there I was told that the NP had already left for the day!! Ummm why didn’t anyone notify me… I took off work early for this just to be told I wasn’t going to be seen. Also I have had all kinds of other issues with this office for the last five years because I did like dr.Clark however her staff has always been terrible! Now there is a new dr here and all new staff and they are even worse! Today was it for me I will not be going back here ever!!!
