I went to the American Medical and Equipment Supply store and they were so helpful. They listened to what I needed and were honest about what they could do. I got what I needed along with information I didn’t know about. They were so accommodating and really cared about helping me out, not just making a sale!

Edit based on owner's response: I was waiting for her, and she was deeply upset coming out. She mentioned to your staff she had surgery years ago, she has been wearing a brace while doing sport, and she wanted a replacement similar to the one she brought to your premises. Your staff seemed taken aback at the sight of her old brace, and just pointed to the area of your shop where you keep others, with no attempt to even move from behind the counter to help out. She does not need surgery, she needs a professional who can help her with a new knee brace, nothing more. We will look elsewhere.

Original review: My wife went to their facilities to buy a replacement sports knee brace. She was treated very rudely, with no understanding, and told they could not give any advice or recommendations. This has been one of the worst customer experiences we've had in the Bay Area.

I called many medical supply companies from San Jose to Marin and American Medical & Equipment Supply was the only place that had what I need in stock. Agnes was the staff member who helped us. She was professional, polite and very helpful. The store is beautifully stocked and organized.
I highly recommend this business for your medical supply needs.

American Medical & Equipment Supply has excellent customer service. I bought the tools I needed after hip replacement surgery, and I rented a wheel chair to make my life easier. The quality of the products I bought and I rented were excellent. Also they kept in touch during the entire wheel chair rental process and made it all easy for me.

I love this place. They have helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have lots of supplies. I bought a chair for my husband, and when there was an issue, they'd responded quickly. The time it made a noise, I sent them a video. They immediately came to the house to try to fix it, and they sent the video to the manufacturer and got things resolved. I really appreciate their commitment to us as valued customers and my husbands comfort. ❤️

We were very pleased with the amount of time, energy and service provided by the American Medical staff. They gave us just the right balance of hands on attention & freedom to explore. The only reason we didn’t purchase our scooter, bed, & chair there was because we need the supplies in a town too far away for the delivery & setup.
Their showroom was extensive & their options were varied. It was a pleasure to spend time there. The staff is wonderful. We highly recommend this store.
