I was referred to Adapt Health from Stanford's sleep clinic in order to start using a CPAP. When I initially tried to make an appointment my understanding was that it would be for the South San Francisco branch however for reasons unknown that branch didn't have any appointments so this branch in San Jose was the next available branch to me.

For the initial part to set up the appointment I was contacted a few weeks after my doctor put the order in with an automated message to set up an appointment. As I was going on an extended vacation I wasn't able to set up an appointment at that time and asked them to call me back in 6 weeks time. They duly did this. So far so good! I then went to book an appointment at this point and this led to a few issues. The first time I tried I was on the line for 45 minutes and no one answered. The second time the phone was answered immediately but initially the person I spoke to said it was too early to book an appointment. I explained that I was getting automated call from their company asking me to ring and book an appointment and they looked into it a bit further and were then able to schedule me.

For the appointment itself they were able to accommodate my request for a middle of the day appointment. The appointment slot was only a week or so out so didn't have to wait too long. Patient parking available at the back of the building and a restroom inside the building too. I was seen immediately upon arriving (no wait time at all!) by Ally (Alejandra). Ally was very helpful and put us at ease. She explained that as she was a CPAP patient herself she had real life experience and insight to offer into the process.

So far I've just started using the machine so not gone through any reordering processes but the initial appointment went a lot better than I thought it would based on the reviews I read!

If I could give zero stars I would….this place had low ratings for a reason. They don’t return calls and when I finally got tired of waiting I would call back and was given the run around multiple times. My doctor was expecting a call or fax from this place and they never called the doctors office. I should have just stopped trying right away instead of hoping they would follow through. I wasted a lot of time trying and it was actually for my mother. I would not recommend this place.

Ever since Brannon's got bought out, this place and it's representatives are the sorriest excuse for customer service!!!!!!!!!
On 11/13/24, I got bounced around five times and placed on hold for a total of twenty minutes!!,,,, NONE of the four reps knew what was going on. of the five reps, the fifth rep, Cedric from another company took care of my supply needs in 7 minutes!!!!!!!

I was scared from all the reviews. But they were just not true for our visit. Our visit was as close to perfect that I think one could expect.

The company is now Adaptive Health. We just had our CPAP training and received our machines. Process took 1hr. Our CPAP technician, Ally, was amazing. Knowledgeable. Set a perfect pace for the training. Empathetic.

Rest assured that the old reviews here on Google are old. My wife and I are 150% completely satisfied with our experience from the moment we were greeted at the front desk to the instructions on how pack up our new
machines.

Well done Ally and the Adaptive team.

Just picked up my CPAP machine today and I was pleased with how the process went. Sharon was very thorough and provided great service. She was also very patient with me as I tried on the face mask and I started to feel an anxiety attack coming on. She allowed me to take the mask off briefly, relax, and place it back on.

I was very skeptical about the reviews of the location, but I had a positive experience with Sharon, and she helped me feel at ease.

They have a small parking lot in the back of the building and not too many spaces, so you may have to park on the street. They had a sign posted that said you must enter from the back (parking lot).

UPDATE to prior review: it appears that Brannon contracts their CPAP supplies to another company, Sound Oxygen services. If Brannon medical is noting many customer complaints, they may wish to reconsider this vendor.
This is a review of Brannon Medical, the company, not the store: I used to get CPAP at the store in SJ, and the staff were helpful. Now, the SJ store no longer handles CPAP, so you have to go through the company. AWFUL. Brannon Medical charged me for the supplies I need (2 months ago!) and I still have not received them. I have been on phone support several times with assurance it will be taken care of. Nada. They have errors in their system regarding my insurance coverage--yet I have paid for the equipment in full--they already processed payment. As soon as I get this cleared up, I'm out of here!!

For close to 30 years I have gone here for my CPAP needs. This time however with Greg taking over the billing I have had some problems. To be fair with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, they are not letting the insurance buy the machine out right but leasing it for 10 months then being able to purchase it, I think, it as not been 10 months yet. When getting the machine I asked for the same mask that I have been getting for many years. I was told that they had one and that they would not order it again for me, to look else where next time. It is to much time spent to get one mask I was told by Greg, Family owner. A bill came for 6 months rent and I paid it with a credit card. This month while looking through my statement I noticed a charge that I never saw a bill for. I called and was passed to Greg. He told me that he would not send a bill for under $10. I told him that I gave him my credit card number for the last payment and would again when I saw a bill. I was told that he does not want my business and to go elsewhere. I told him that he had not gotten my permission to save my credit card to use again. He said he could raise the bill to $10 and then would send me a statement. So when I asked for where to go to find another provider he told me he did not know of any in my hometown. So, after all of these years, one new person that has been rude over the phone, not working with a patient, I will say that I was not that polite also, would not recommend this Medical Supply to anyone. For 29 years this one transaction that is how important he made a patient feel.
