I want to say that Dr. Maliheh Massih has been my doctor for years. She is so knowledgeable and professional and has the compassion and understanding that many doctors lack in today's medical profession. She has always been very informative concerning my illness and has helped me deal with the pain I continually experience. She has addressed every situation of my experience with this illness in a way that myself, a layman, can understand. She always has good advice and presents it in the sincerest manner. She is so knowledgeable and I am sure she really cares. I thank God that she is my doctor.
As for the staff, I have always had a good experience. They have always been helpful and courteous.

I have been going to Dr. Massih for over 6 years. She has always listened to my concerns and explained anything I asked.

Constant pain takes both a physical and a mental toll and Dr. Massih has steered me to resources to help with both those issues. When my medication became difficult to get during the pandemic she and her office worked with me to find a solution.

Pain management has become a nightmare for both patient and provider. Making it really hard for people with legitimate problems and hard for the doctors that treat them. I don't know anyone else's circumstances but my own and she has always worked with my best interests at heart. That doesn't mean always telling me what I want to hear, but explaining why I might need to try something else. I'm eternally grateful for being her patient.

Kept me on hold for 40 minutes only to transfer me to a different number that also wanted to put me on hold. Mind you, I called the number THEY SENT ME to cancel appointments. Also, my interaction with Dr. Patel showed me how this place is just trying to milk insurance for money and waste my time. I told her I wasn't in that much pain but she insisted we do several sessions of acupuncture, which I never ended up receiving because this place never called me back. As I'm writing this review, I'm on hold on the phone (like I have been since 9:20) and I'm apparently "One person away in line" but it's been 10 minutes of nothing and I'm losing my patience with this place. I'm just trying to call to cancel my appointment but these poor excuses for degree-holders can't even manage that. Don't let them manage your body.

I'm absolutely enraged at how Dr. Maliheh Massih treated my mother at her first appointment. We'll never come back here and I'll recommend anyone and EVERYONE against this place.

Dr. Massih was dismissive, rude, and disrespectful towards my mother's request about disability and was insistent on my mother being employed and working through her major lumbar and cervical issues (diagnosed spinal stenosis, degenerative discs, nerve pain, & more) even though my mother hasn't been able to physically work for over a year. Does this doctor want people to purposefully worsen their physical conditions so she can repeatedly inject them and prescribe them with pain medication?

Not only that, but Dr. Massih was impatient and rushed her appointment. How can you get to understand your patient's issues if you don't give them the time to explain their ailments? And even with the limited time she gave my mother, she would talk over her and ignore her concerns. She even angrily opened up the appointment by asking my mother "why [she] was even here."

And when my mother asked Dr. Massih to explain the side effects of a certain procedure, Dr. Massih insisted that she would only tell her once they were cleared to do the procedure. So, basically, she wanted to pressure my mother into making an appointment for the procedure first before explaining anything. Is this a doctor who cares, or a doctor who simply wants money? I think it's clear what her aim is.

Regardless of whether or not Dr. Massih is a good doctor, our first impressions of her are highly negative. I'll never be able to trust someone so rude, dismissive, and uncooperative, and I strongly suggest others to avoid this doctor.

I have known Dr.Massih and Dr Navani since they first opened and always had awesome care. I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 I missed Dr.Massih so much! Pain management is pathetic! In 2022 I stopped all pain medication on my own .. since pain management can no longer prescribed certain meds I guit! Guess what? My pain level is manageable on only Tylenol extra strength twice a day. I am back in San Jose and will be seeing Dr.Massih in December. Just to keep her updated I will always need her help she is one awesome beautiful person who I Respect and Trust with my medical care. I do not want to touch pain medication again.
There are other ways to manage pain the Right Way. Thank you Dr Navani and Dr.Massih see you soon.

I’m not sure about the doctors at this practice but the staff at this practice are miserable people. Completely uncompassionate. I tried for three days to get a hold of somebody for a new patient appointment. Left several messages on different peoples voicemails As well as an in person message at the Campbell office. Was told that I would receive a call back the same day, but over three business days later still didn’t hear back from anyone. What is wrong with these people? Are they not aware that their Patients are in a great deal of pain? I wish there was somewhere else I could go to get this care. Avoid avoid avoid

What a horrible experience!!! The doctor I saw was Paul Cheng. He said, he sent in a pre-authorization for an MRI. He also said authorization could take up to 2 weeks. I waited roughly 2 weeks, with no word. I called blue shield and they said nothing was ever sent. How can he treat people this way? I’m in severe pain and taking care of a newborn, so I needed resolution quickly as possible.To top it off the front desk staff was not friendly.

BTW, I had the exact same issue on the opposite side of my neck 3 years ago. I received an MRI and 2 epidurals for that issue.

Update: I got a second opinion from a different company. I was able to get an MRI quickly. Come to find out, I have a herniated disk in my neck, causing a pinched nerve. I will be receiving an epidural in just a few days.

I was seen in November 2020 and the Dr requested a cervical spine MRI, which required a pre-authorization from my insurance. After a few weeks of waiting to hear back, I called to get an update and was told they hadn’t received the pre-auth yet. I called my insurance and was told nothing had even been submitted to them! I called the office numerous times, left messages, was told 3 different stories, and was assured I’d get a call back. One person even told me I didn’t even need a pre-auth; something that I confirmed with my insurance directly as being incorrect. Now 3.5 months has passed and I still haven’t heard anything or gotten any guidance. My neck pain is unbearable and my migraines are getting worse. The Dr seemed knowledgeable and helpful but I won’t be returning due to the extreme lack of professionalism and incompetence demonstrated by the admin staff.
