Terrible experience. Don't go there if you have other options. The doctor is rude, impatient, and unhelpful. The doctor doesn't have any capability to make basic dignosis, yet she knows very well how to judge the patient from every way.

There are many nice and young providers in the North East Medical Service, for example, my family doctor Qilin Lu, MD, he is younger and medical skills . So that I think, North East Medical Services is a nice medical service.

Very unhelpful doctor. Brought in medication that was prescribed by previous doctor with the intention of asking for a prescription. I request a greater quantity of tablets as I don’t want to have to go to the pharmacy to refill often. Doc tells me that long term, this medication isn’t good to be used. I ask why and he doesn’t explain. I ask if there is another alternative and he doesn’t answer. Says that my breakout should go away on its own. Which is true in experience, but the meds help quicken the process. Felt like a well too bad deal with it moment. Not great customer service. At the end of the appointment he says to go up front to schedule lab work. Understood, but then he forgot I was supposed to get a flu shot and COVID booster which he acknowledged during the meeting but forgot by the end….

Simple and easy to check in at the front reception.

Member Service folks were nice and friendly.

The "doctor" was unable to provide service due to her lack of comprehension of the California State form and follow the very simple instructions written in English. Instead of following the steps for a standard TB Risk Assessment, she (along with the center director) tried to make me me "upgrade" to a TB *test* – for a high additional cost. The State Risk Assessment form clearly outlines the steps and specifically states "no test is required" – hence it's called risk assessment. Provider did not comprehend the purpose and instructions and/or wanted to up-sell a service that neither I needed nor the State required. Successfully wasted 2 hrs of my time. Reported NEMS to the State for removal from listing of providers.

The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter and I have been coming here for years. I love my doctor and his medical assistant. The pharmacy staff are very helpful and professional. Everyone has a great sense of humor. I never wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. The services they provide are rapidly growing. I really love how clean this facility is and how they strive to protect all of us during the pandemic. I highly recommend them.

The referral department is not doing their job. I have called them over five time to fax over the referral letter to my physical therapist, but they did not send anything and I can only called my physical therapist to notice they have not receive any fax. And the referral department refuse to confirm with my physical therapist and did not respond to any of my message or call me back. I called the customer service line to help send them. Message but use less. Grace Zhang is the person who taking care of this referral and obviously she don care about her job. I wondering how northeast medical center select their employee. The referral department sounds like has attitude and I don’t know why, I was the one have been suffering back pain and they act like they are the victim. Ask them to fulfill their job like killing them. Can not imaging how lazy they are.
