Outstanding staff. Professional, clear and positive at check in - stressful to be here, and we appreciated reception (Perla) making us comfortable. Nurses (Jennifer and JP) were also positive, helpful and excellent at explaining what to expect.
Charging for devices available in the waiting room. That's a small touch, but clear that Samaritan is thinking through the end-to-end patient experience.

I was a patient for several years and was monitored and well taken care of. I had a cancer reoccurrence in 2021 and was scheduled for surgery. They went in and when I woke up from surgery, was told they couldn’t find the cancer. Afterward I had one follow up appointment and then my doctor left Stanford. So did my entire care team. I called several times over the course of a year trying to get ahold of anyone and never received phone calls back. So I was left completely uncared for after having significant evidence of cancer. I don’t know what happened but the entire situation is very strange and unsettling. I should mention this is the second doctor + care team that suddenly left during my time at Stanford.

I have always been treated with respect and kindness from receptionist, medicall assistants,NP, techs ,as well as my Surgeons ( Dr. Stone, Kimberly and Dr. Nazerali, Rahim). I'am so thankful for everyone here is so welcoming. I am so thankful for my doctors they did an excellent job with my surgeries and i couldntbe happier with the results. I really recommend this place you won't regret it.

Absolutely the worst service experience with zero to no compassion. I had an accident and my doctor ordered X-Rays. I called another Stanford Imaging center to schedule an appointment and they provided the wrong address so without any intention to be late, I arrived at 4:50 to this office for the imaging center on the 2nd floor. This office closes at 5:00pm. I had a person at home sick so even with my injury I had to drive to arrive before 5:00pm. For other personal reasons, I had to get the x-rays done this day. The person at the check-in desk stated it was already close to 5pm so they were going to make an exception, and my answer was that I really appreciated it. I sat down at the wait room and the person that takes X-rays called my name and said, “are you aware is almost 5pm and we close soon?” I was shocked this was her greeting. After this I said, you have no idea why I am late and honestly I don't want to be here either, I never asked to have an accident. She kept going on and on to what time it was, that I should know for the next time, to the point where I had to even ask if the ella was going to perform the service or else I would leave. As a professional and someone who has worked prior in customer experience, it is a shame that a health professional is not empathic enough to care a tiny bit for patients or at least try to understand why someone might be late. When someone is unable to walk properly, explanations of why you need to have an x-ray performed should be unnecessary. I would urge this facility to reconsider the way patients are being treated. At last, I was out of the office at 5:07pm, and she ultimately became a bit more comprehensive.

I was there to do my ultrasound imaging which took me about 3 months to get this appointment. I was ready to pay my $200 co-pay but suddenly they asked for $600 co-pay. Their reason for such huge change in price was “we have hospital rates”!!!!!
What? $3500 for ultrasound imaging?
There are some specific insurances that have zero co-pay or out of pocket which helps some of the imaging diagnoses center to increase prices…. “Unfortunately”

I came here with a man I work for who was preparing for surgery at the main hospital..
We were seen immediately and the staff was very friendly. We did not wait long in the waiting room, not even 10 minutes before being seen and the NP was names will, he was very nice to us. He did give us some incorrect information that my friend would have to stay the night in the hospital but it seemed like a computer error, not his fault.
He sent us off to the lab where we were immediately seen once again and the technicians were very friendly. Good place to go!
