One of the best doctors I have had.
Diagnosed with some pretty aggressive cancer 4 years ago. Few great calls still here doing great.

Dec 2015 Montorello put me in "ICU for 4 days" losing 1/2 my blood due to renal hemorrhage trying to remove a simple 15mm stone (which he totally missed).. almost killing me.

WHO SENDS A PATIENT HOME TO DIE IN BED WITH "MASSIVE RENAL HEMORRHAGE" WHEN HEMORRHAGING BLOOD CAN BE SEEN ON THE MONITOR DURING THE STONE REMOVAL PROCEDURE THAT WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE?

I HAD TO BE EMERGENCY 911 AMBULANCED BACK TO THE HOSPITAL AND SHOULD HAVE DIED IN MY SLEEP HAD I NOT AWOKE HOURS LATER TO CALL A FRIEND.

On top of that he sends Dr. Nelles to visit me in ICU instead of visiting himself. How uncool is that?

Also left a ureter stint in my body far too long (11 Mos when max s/b 3 Mos) due to Marshall refusing to take it out until I had a heart valve replaced they said had a birth defect, yet I felt great heart wise (and now my heart knocks due to pericardial adhesion).

After all this trauma it turned out my PSA skyrocketed to 16.2 and now 20. I tried to switch to his partner Dr. Nelles for a second opinion who refused saying it was a conflict of interests (what!)..

Monterello then refused to see me anymore (because I wanted a second opinion?)

So my PSA skyrocketted and I had no doctor and had to now drive +1 hr to the closest doctor feeling truly victimized.

If I could give a zero, I would. I was trying to discuss my problems with the doctor and he decided that it wasn't good enough and pretty much kicked me out. Just sad, he wouldn't even let me speak
