Having only Medi-Cal, I had few choices of where to go for my med management. If it wasn't such a pain in the a__, I would find another place. I think their way of running the office is unprofessional. They didn't return my phone calls and it was difficult to make any sort of change in my medication program. For one thing, the communication with clients was inadequate to say the least. My nurse practitioner who oversees my meds seems to know less than I do. It appears her knowledge goes only as far as a Google search and WebMD or something similar.
And they couldn't give any reference of a psychiatrist for me to see when I developed Parkinson's and I would have to have some kind of new meds. They just told me to call Blue Shield. Luckily I finally found one psychiatrist in SD county who was taking patients. Looking forward to quitting MHS.

The staff here are clowns without empathy. They’ll discontinue your medication (that requires you to be tapered off gradually) simply for being sick and unable to make your appointment one time. They don’t even offer to reschedule you. Mental healthcare has reached an all time low here.

The staff there are great and very nice Cathy the receptionist is genuine and she cares. Wayne who's the nurse always talks with me about comic and stuff like that, he's pretty cool 😎 and Nicole is a great listener

They don't even have the freakin doors unlocked. You knock knock and knock. Still no answer and the employee in the hallway treats you like you're nothing doesn't even seemed to be happy 😁 to have a job there. Sheeez.
