After years of service with another company, Apria, that I personally experienced as dehumanizing and purely profit-oriented, my doctor recommended Apguard. I found Apguard to be a company I want to support. They are not huge and treated me with respect and dignity. I highly recommend them. They are real people. Most importantly, they gave me far better, more knowledgeable service. And no, I don’t know anyone at the company and never heard of them before getting referred earlier this year.

I don't typically write reviews but it has been difficult to get someone on a phone call. I agree with pretty much all the other ratings too. BUT if you do get someone on the phone they are super helpful.

I closed my account with them since it was easier just to buy my own machine than do go through the entire process of back and forth.

one of the worst company that I ever deal with.
multiple time send email and make a call to pay bil, No one reply but to send late fee they easy do that.
on my bill that is 10$ they send late fee of 15$

Very difficult to get hold of people on the phone. You are normally put on hold until either your phone battery runs down or they hang up. The billing has charged me repeatedly for things covered 100% on my insurance. I would call them to complain and they would supposedly take care of the oversight. Then next month it would happen again. I have to wonder how many elderly folks that aren't able to watch it closely might be paying twice for their stuff.

The only reason I tolerate this place is that for some reason it is in my "network" so I have to go through them. If insurance ever wises up and switches, I'll be happy to try someone else.

Since then they hired a wonderful lady named Mardi, I hope the spelling is correct. She is not only on top of all orders but is genuinely nice to speak with. My orders now arrive on time and no longer get “double dipped” or charged to me instead on my insurance.

Was revered here from my Dr because they accept insurance. This company will charge you for things they don’t do. Very rude staff. Waited 3 months for a CPAP machine because they have two rates, one for insurance and one for cash (they charge the insurance less) I was willing to pay cash to receive it earlier when hearing the price waited for the insurance. Then they charged my credit card $17 a month for a year without any documentation!!!!! When I called them they told me my cpap was a rental and when I questioned why I payed a few hundred when I got it they say “that’s how we do it” Avoid this business!!

I have to agree with most of the things stated in these poor reviews. It is difficult to get a human being on the phone. When you leave a message, often times you don't get a call back. They are VERY disorganized. I gave them a method of payment and they charged my backup method instead. Rather than charging me via the method of payment indicated in my file at the time the supplies are sent, I get past due notices for 2-3 months and then they charge my backup method of payment without notice. My doctor sent me to these people and they are not good at what they do. I need to let my doctor know so they can make another recommendation.

I resisted getting a CPAP machine for about 15 years from when I was first diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. I finally decided to try it- and had a hard time finding a facility in my area which handles these. Everyone I have dealt with at Apguard has been outstanding in every way. They not only get me a machine during a period when they have been hard to come by, but they fitted me with a mask that has worked flawlessly from day 1. Apguard has also been awesome with helping me go through insurance for the follow up replacement parts. Every person I have dealt with at Apguard has been caring, efficient and great at what they do. I am now sleeping so much better, and so has my partner. Thank you for changing my life for the better!
