Luis at the Carmel Valley lab is simply phenomenal. I got lucky to have him as my phlebotomist twice and both times he was extremely gentle and professional. First off, this is the best look Kaiser facility ever build (at least in SoCal).

I had a very pleasant experience here. Everyone was curtious and kind. For the most part the wait from nurse to doctor to finally seeing me was very quick. Again that applies to other KP offices, hospital, clinics, &c.

I would hazard a guess that wait times vary from department to department. I was seen by a great doctor in the Internal/Family Medicine wing. In my experience with my year with Kaiser, this has usually been quite a wait next to urgent care.

I have attached two sample pictures of inside the standar waiting room. It's also a very noticeable building so you should be fairly easy to fine off the street.

Quick, efficient, extremely friendly staff and nurses. Hadn't had such a wonderful experience in a while, very thankful I finally got Kaiser insurance.

My doctor, Dr. Quach, was kind, patient, insightful and very helpful. The first time I saw her she apologized so many times for being late, but she was only around 10 minutes late which is nothing for a health care visit. She gave me helpful suggestions, listens carefully to my concerns and needs and explains everything she prescribes or recommends in extreme clarity. She was able to identify and narrow down the issues I have quickly and thoughtfully.

Careless staff. Check in receptionist doesn’t know the hours of the department. This person checks you in and makes you wait for hours, even when the department is closed. I was in excruciating pain and this made it worse. Then, when I asked why I hadn’t been called in, all 3 people at front desk lied and try to cover up for each other. Very sad these people have access to my information. Careless staff that needs to remember they are dealing with people’s lives. Don’t go to Carmel Valley, go to Rancho Bernardo office as they are the complete opposite. Never going back to Carmel Valley KP even when that’s the closest office for me.

This facility is super easy to get to and is less than 5 miles from my home. All of the staff, from the receptionist to the nurses, doctors, and PTs, are all very nice.
