I specifically marked my preferred pronouns as "he/him" and my gender identity as transmasculine, but I was still referred to multiple times as a woman and called "she" by staff. "Female" I wouldn't have minded as much, but it felt like my identity was completely ignored. This was really disappointing, as there are multiple signs in the facility claiming PP is a safe space. I didn't feel unsafe, but I didn't feel respected.

During the procedures themselves, the nurses treated me fine, but I felt that the doctor was really short with me. I felt an urgency to explain myself before I'd get cut off, which was (again) disappointing.

On top of that, they were constantly giving me new totals for how much my exams/procedures would be - I was confused, and I felt myself get increasingly stressed as the bill inflated further and further. My original quote was around $400 and it nearly went to $600 - I had to tell them to call off certain lab screenings because I couldn't afford the increase.

I asked about sliding scale, payment plans, anything that could alleviate the financial burden... nothing. I feel overcharged.

I left feeling genuinely sad. I'd been to a Planned Parenthood before and I had a much better experience last time. I'm not coming back to this one.

I had an incredible experience at Planned Parenthood’s Carson location. I’ve visited several Planned Parenthoods over the years, but this one is hands down the best. The punctuality, cleanliness, and overall technique were outstanding. I want to give a special shout-out to Sue, who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. Her warmth and professionalism truly made my day, especially when I wasn’t feeling my best. I’ve never felt this level of care and reassurance at any other location, and I’m incredibly grateful to have met her. Thank you, Sue, for providing such a safe and supportive environment!

The receptionist are really rude and are terrible at explaining things. They look at you as if you are stupid and when you ask questions they are annoyed. Sheena In specifically is very rude and unprofessional. We no longer wanted to ask her questions so we attempted to ask the other and she just ignored us and looked at Sheena with a snark. Receptionist need to be retrained or fired. Planned parenthood is definitely not a place to lack compassion and patience.

By far the best experience I've had with plan parenthood at this location. Nurse Practitioner and staff are amazing and professional. This location is definitely worth the visit

People are very nice. Like the TV was on in the waiting room. Explain things to you and makes sure everything is clear. Clean bathroom. Great experience.

I always love going to the office the MA’s and the ladies in the front are always so kind. Seeing PA AP during my visit have been a blessing she very knowledgeable and gives great education in women’s health.
