I had a less than favorable experience with the radiology technician who performed my chest X-ray, I believe her name was Vicky. I was not informed that the X-ray would be conducted in a different room, as my EKG had been done in the same room. When it came time for the X-ray, Vicky's response to my uncertainty was brusque, as she motioned for me to follow her and said, 'Let's go then.' I apologized, explaining that I wasn't aware the procedure would take place elsewhere, to which she responded with a dismissive eye roll and a visibly unprofessional expression. I found her attitude to be uncalled for, particularly as I was already feeling unwell. However, I would like to note that the rest of the staff were exceptional and provided excellent care.

After you get past the receptionist with a bad attitude. And the hour and half wait. A 10. The nurse and doctor were great. For stitches a 10 Just ask the receptionist to be a little more friendly.

I have a suggestion. DO NOT use self adhesive bandage on hands.

After I left your urgent care last night, before we got to our car, my hand started aching. My fingers were icy cold. I thought it was the numbing wearing off. But the ache turned to pain and my fingers got colder. I checked to see if I could put my finger under the wrap. I could, so I didn't think the bandage was too tight. After about three hours of the pain increasing, I started thinking of going to the emergency room.
But decided to take off the self adhesive bandage first. Instant relief. But it took a couple hours before the pain was completely gone and my fingers got warm.

The self adhesive bandage was cutting off my circulation.

The reason the finger under the bandage test didn't work correctly is because the self adhesive bandage is stretchy. So I could lift the bandage and stick my finger underneath. But the bandage would shrink back down when I removed my finger.

I strongly suggest using the old fashion gauze wrap.

I had an infected cyst. Was seen in 1hr as I was 3rd in line. Everyone was nice, attentive and treated me well. I highly recommend this Urgent Care.

No I don’t suggest THIS Exer, we were told by front desk lady that we had to get X rays done due to my mom having a little cough for more than 5 days, she wasn’t wheezing and explained to her that she didn’t need it. And my mom HAD TO ASK if she was seen and needed to come came back she’d have to pay TWICE!!! We didn’t want to do that so the lady told us Westlake can take you so we drove to Westlake and was seen by a doc that checked her lungs with the scope, we DIDN'T NEED X RAYS!!! What a shock?!?!? We knew that!!!! She got antibiotics for an ear infection and the cough seems viral and lingering. We absolutely could have gotten than done at a location that was 5 min away instead of 15-20….. so if that front lady didn’t want walk ins to come in, that’s absolutely rude to do your a business and YOU ARE A WALK IN URGENT CARE!!! So show that to people who walk in even if it’s at night. We appreciate the Westlake location for taking us so late and taking care of my mom.

During my visit with family I found the need for a quick medical visit. Dr. Patricia Gillis was quick and took care of my needs. The nurse who initially took care of me was very nice and had a very calm demeanor. Very happy with this medical facility and I wish they were in Texas.

Thank you so much for the prompt, excellent, personalized and caring treatment!!! David Eisner was Compassionate, Skillful and had a Comforting Bedside Manner! The facility was clean, comfortable and well-organized. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Not to mention, they have late hours available (open until 9 pm), and can run blood tests in-house (I got my blood test result within minutes!). Exer Urgent Care in Newbury Park is now my #1 Choice - why go anywhere else?

Walk ins are welcome but that means NOTHING Urgent. First visit with Insurance was 6 hours. Do not call them, as they Do Not answer calls. The 2nd try is 2 plus hours. Not worth going! There will not be a 3rd time. So much for a neighbourhood service. Or as an alternative!
