I went to Amir Iqbal after feeling horrible pains in my digestive track every time I ate something. He said it was that my stomach flora was disturbed over antibiotics and I should adjust my diet. I went back a few months later, crying this time, and told him it felt like glass was going through my intestines... He said because I am 52 years old and my hormones were changing, I am lactose intolerant, told me to take dairy out of my diet, and sent me home again. He never tested me for this. 3 months later, I went to Los Robles Hospital and found out I had 3rd stage primary peritoneal cancer. Dr. Iqbal spends a lot of time talking when he should be examining and testing. He never examined me in the two times I was there. I also have the best insurance so I could have had any test. So irresponsible and reckless. He referred me to Dr. Daneshgar of whom is not much better. Be VERY weary of doctors that disregard your concerns. They are the absolute worst thing for your health.

Dr Zoya Furman and staff are all so caring and personable people. Very efficiently run office. I have ( in all my 70 years!) had such a good experience with a primary care doctor and her accommodating nurses and administrators.
It is hard to express the gratitude for the smallest gestures of kindness and thoughtfulness I’ve experienced within their circle of care. I think Dr Furman is a very brilliant and professional medical doctor but also someone with an instinctual support spirit. I’m very thankful zi am under her care.

From the moment I entered Dr. Bader Iqbal’s office as a patient almost 20 years ago, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that my complete health and wellness have been taken care of. What I have appreciated even more about Dr. Iqbal is how amazing he has been towards my 79 years old mother in his care for the past 10 plus years. Dr. Iqbal has always taken a holistic approach towards my mother's treatment taking into account NOT only the medical needs but also her comfort level with each proposed treatment. Even at times when Dr. Iqbal had a full schedule, he managed to always find the time to attend to my mother’s acute medical needs. I highly recommend him!

I switched to Dr Iqbal couple years ago and glad I made the decision. Iqbal is a very good doctor. He is caring, compassionate and gives the time that patients deserve. He listens to what you are there for and always provides a right solution. The front office is good too.

Dr. Furman is the best doctor that I ever had!

She is always available for appointments, attentive, compassionate, and most of all, she is a problem solver!!!!
When we meet, I feel like I am part of the team. She does not tell me, but consults and makes suggestions. Her medical knowledge and experiences are always a tool for her to figure out complex medical concerns. It happened to me, and she was the only one who figured out how to cure/solve/remedy the situation!

AFP is the nicest doctors office I’ve ever been to in my entire life! The first thing I noticed about the office was how beautiful it was. Everything felt new and clean and comforting. What really got my attention was the front desk and how friendly all of the employees were! There was a woman who couldn’t find her insurance card and was visibly very frustrated and they all did their best to calm her and reassure her they would figure out a solution. I personally loved that there was a display for homeopathic herbs on the counter and no one asked me my vaccination status. In the last 2 years it seems a doctors visit has become something so rigid where your temperature is more important than a greeting. AFP hasn’t forgotten how far being friendly and compassionate goes towards improving everyone’s health! Dr Furman helped me transfer a couple prescriptions from my old doctors office in LA and she began her evaluation with just simply wanting to get to know me since I’m a new patient. She was very patient and kind and extremely knowledgeable. I’m still in shock that I found such an incredible doctors office that felt different than any other healthcare provider. I feel very fortunate to have found them.
