The facility was great and clean. The doctor and staff were wonderful.
However the billing was rough! I brought my children into the clinic for basic cold check ups. I always ask if the facility is in network with my insurance and we confirmed that they were and I paid my deductible at time of service. I was later billed something called "co-insurance" and was surprised to receive a bill at all! They add an extra charge to all patients that is beyond the in-network office visit charge, because they classify as "after hours" urgent care, service provided beyond normal business hours, even though that is there business hours. Well, my insurance did not pick this extra charge up and it become patient responsibility. I have been to other urgent cares similar with non traditional hours and I have never been charged this in the past. I wish they would have been upfront about the possible additional charges when I inquired about them being in network. My insurance was also baffled by the charge and noted they don't often see that code they used.

I always get quick service, brought to the back right away. Staff handles the insurance right away, haven't had confusion or issues. I've seen 3 different doctors there, diff visits, they were all very good with my kids. And we got the help we needed.

There is no other urgent care I will ever take my children to. Dr Alikian and the staff are professional and thorough. Wait times have never been horrendous. Grateful for a pediatric urgent care we can depend on!

Incompetent doctors & very disappointing experience.
Took my 2 year old daughter here for a suspected UTI. The doctor attempted to insert a catheter with the cover on & my daughter was screaming in pain until the Dr. realized her mistake. She finally collected the urine needed to send to the lab for a culture. My daughter was prescribed antibiotics with the understanding that when the culture came back, we'd know whether the current care plan was the right one. We were told we'd have results in 48 hrs. 48 hrs later we call to follow up - no results yet. 72 hrs later we follow up - no results yet. At this point, they finally follow up with the lab & call back to let us know they didn't collect enough urine for the culture. The suffering my daughter endured here to have testing done & in the end not have any results or answers due to inadequate doctors is inexcusable.

Shawn! one of the owner of After Hours Pediatrics did call me. He was nice, professional and did listen to my concerns regarding the billing. He did contact absolute medical office then called me back after he did confirm with them the billing was corrected and showing zero balance. I do appreciate what Shawn did!.
After Hours Pediatrics staff and doctors are nice. But front desk need to listen to customers concerns and offer solutions rather than saying we can not help! At least they can leave a note to the office manager/ owner to fellow up with customer.

Staff are friendly. The reason I gave 1 star cause the absolute medical billing office they do use for billing. This medical billing office does mistakes, do not reply to emails, do not have a website or online portal you can use to pay or view your account. When you go to after hours pediatrics they say we do not have access to billing! You are the provider, the statement has your information, claims submitted to insurance is listed you! So how your staff do not have access to customer billing and if there balance on the account. Very unprofessional and disappointing! Again doctors, nurses and front staff are friendly but the owner/ medical director need to fix this billing issues!.

Rushed over to the urgent care close to their closing time. Everyone was friendly and inside of the office was big and very clean. My kid had thorough exam, and Dr Marshall took time to explain everything with care. It was a great experience and I'd recommend this office to anyone who needs to see a doctor after hours.

Needed urgent care for my son, over the weekend. We have new insurance and were referred here.

Received great care, staff was polite and professional, Doctor was thorough, and answered all my questions. Diagnosis was not even close to what I brought him for, so I'm grateful she took the time and had the experience to know what she was looking at.

It's located in an older building on the boulevard, frankly the exterior could use some work. However the interior of the office is bright, clean and modern. Do not hesitate to bring your child here.
