They listen and help with coordinating care givers per our requests and preferences. The dispatchers have been very cooperative. We have used ComForCare for a long while and my mother currently and previously my step-father before he passed had some amazing caregivers. Thank you.

I do not recommend this agency if you care about the quality of homecare and the well being of your family member.

The intake coordinator, Mia , was late on every visit to my home and said that my nephew has schizophrenia, which he does not.

The caregiver she sent engaged in the following:

1. Chronically late (more than 15 minutes)
2. Leaked oil on the driveway, despite repeated requests to not park there
3. moved home surveillance cameras and blocked cameras with objects.
4. Stole 97.00 cash from a dementia patient.
5. Stole ice cream pints. ice cream bars and soup placing them in her large handbag several times
6. “Light cleaning” was wetting a rag with only water and wiping down a counter.
7. Ordered Postmates et al. daily even though she only worked a 4 hour shift in addition to eating snacks and drinking sodas and multiple coffees.
8. Put a cashmere sweater in a washer on hot, destroying it.
9. Put wallet in washer entire cycle destroying wallet and soaked cash and cards.
10. Placed absorbent pads upside down on bedding, creating puddles of urine.
11. Did not use coaster, despite repeated reminders leaving stained rings on wooden table
12. Refused to download an app to use a speaker to play music for patient yet was almost always on her phone.
13. Brought her guitar for her own personal practice.
14. Cut hair of dementia patient without consent

And instead of apologizing for any of the above, the caregiver denied her documented behavior. Both Robel and Cathy have the most insincere and negligent attitude towards solving issues. They are more concerned with protecting their reputation. They cannot be trusted. Poor communication from management. Please see all the other negative reviews of this agency.

I can recommend COMFORCARE HOME CARE without reservation. Joel and Lynne met with my wife and I for over an hour on TWO separate occasions and made sure that they understood exactly what our needs and our concerns were. As a result, the Home Health Care Providers they sent were all professional, courteous and easy to work with. We couldn't be more pleased!

In addition, COMFORCARE HOME CARE is fully licensed and accredited and manages all employment issues, insurance and tax issues, as well as being fully bonded. I should add that their price for this level of service is competitive here in the Los Angeles Home Care market, and as it turns out, it's a great value!
