Just had my first appointment with Dr Riggs and I thought the whole experience was top notch. The office staff is friendly, helpful and punctual. They prepped everything so it was seamless for the exam. Dr Riggs explained everything to me and showed me what he was talking about. I made an appointment for an eye exam with Dr. Riggs,. He did a thorough examination on me and found I had cataracts in both eyes. He was honest, direct and straightforward. Dr. Riggs is an excellent optometrist that I’ve been using for many years. However, my most recent visit was disappointing not because of his skills but rather because his staff failed to make a same day appointment to immediately diagnose my unusual cloudy vision condition.

The girls in the office were very pleasant, funny and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone. The doctor was fantastic. He explained everything and said what we could do in the future but not right now which was great for me. Kudos to grossmont optical

My wife and I have been utilizing Grossmont Vision for 11 or 12 years. We have not been convinced to visit any advertised discount glasses supplier. As I have come to know Dr. Riggs, I have realized what an intelligent and knowledgeable caretaker that he is. Every issue of your health is important to him in making decisions about your visual well being. All his staff are well trained, knowledgeable, respectful and courteous.
