Within three days, he found an assisted living option in San Diego and handled everything: transportation, medical equipment, submitted a financial assistance application, and assembled a compassionate hospice care team. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Together Hospice. It can be a daunting task when trying to find the proper care and facilities for our loved ones. Joseph went above and beyond to make this process as quick and stress-free as one could imagine. Where other social workers from other facilities could not find solutions for weeks on end, Joseph from Together Hospice got results almost immediately. He also just as quickly connected us with financial aid . On top of that, the facilities that he works with are all vetted and as he would put it: "up to the standards he would want if it were his loved one." And this is because it was once his loved one. He has been where we are, and he conducts himself with a passion and empathy that reflects this. The result: my father now has a place to stay in walking distance from me, with excellent staff and facilities. This all took place within a matter of days. I could not have asked for nor gotten better results much less anywhere near to the same results with anybody else. If you want the best, look no further.

I just want my Dads (Jack Davidson) hospice team to know I am so grateful for everything they have done. I was very apprehensive to put my Dad on hospice . As a paramedic, I’ve had seen things in the past on calls with hospice that I was disheartened by. Also, I was not ready to admit it was time for my Dad to be on hospice.

My Dads is everything to me . He was my rock and helped me raise my daughter. From the first day, I let Leslie know my feelings that my Dad was going on Gods time not by being given heavy Sedation and medications . She assured me they only do what that patient needs. They are there to help and support the family through this difficult process.

Yatzi, the first nurse I met was very sweet and described everything she was doing.

Rosa bathed my Dad and cared for him very gently. Rosa showed me how to change him and his bed sheets more efficiently when he was no longer able to get out of bed. Later it came in very handy when I was alone and things got bad.

Chaplin Phil showed up on our doorstep one day when I was really down . He lifted my spirits like a coach. He also found a tactful way to reach my Dad about religion when he saw my dads shield come up against religion. He said he needed to tend to me, his daughter, so I would be alright when this process was over. So my Dad patted my hand and looked at me. He listen to Chaplin Phil tend to my spiritually care.

Nurse Linnaya arrived with a bright smile. She went over the signs and symptoms to expect as the time grew closer. She also spent extra time with me when she saw I was in need of company.

I cannot forget Sister Massabo, she sat with me to hear how I was doing. She shared with me the things she felt when she lost the person most dear to her. It was very helpful to realize that she truly understood how important my Dad was to me. She took it with stride when my cat dove into her purse to steal something, only and to get caught in her purse straps and take off with her purse across my couch.

I love this entire hospice team together because each one of them brought something different. They all seem to have their heart and soul dedicated to this job and the people they care for. This is truly their calling.

I was very worried about were my mom was going to spend her last days 🙏 but thanks to Joseph the social worker very kind, guide us on this journey🙏 by the moment we enter in the house was a sensation that we were at home 🏡 🙏❤️ everybody treated us like a family 👪 every thing is very clean and beautiful decorated ❤️ We couldn't find better place for my mom❤️🙏 We are so grateful and happy🙏🙏❤️❤️
