Horrible expirience dealing with the finance department and front office. They claimed I did not pay for my appointment and sent me to collections. I responded to their claim with my bank and credit card payment which showed that I had paid on that date. Despite that the collections told me I had to contact Mrs. Prabaker. So I try to contact her but she only comes in 1 day a week. And when I finally caught her and gave her the proof she refused to waive it, saying that I could have just paid off another appointment. Eventually I caved and double paid for that appointment (25$)

They provided me with inadequate care and did not treat me with respect. They have also cancelled on me with a less than 24 hour request and i have had 4 different pa (physician assistant) my short time there and I have never even met Dr Prabaker. I can say that I am glad I was able to switch primary care doctors.

I really like this office and the doctors are pretty nice, helpful, and seem to really care about their patients, but the front office staff need to do a lot better with following up with patients. It's also sometimes hard to get someone on the phone and they put you on hold a lot for even the simplest things. It seems that the staff may not always be in effective communication with one another because every time I call there regarding a matter, I get a different answer from a different person every time. This can get pretty frustrating for the patient. But other than that, I really like the quality of care that the doctors provide to their patients.

I have been a patient at this office for two years and have never even met the doctor. I'm on my 3rd physician's assistant and she rushes me through everything and cuts me off if I have more concerns to discuss. Everyone else there is friendly and helpful, but this office has fumbles my referrals and prescriptions continually causing multiple delays in my care. I'm 69 years old and have hypertension, diabetes, and family history of heart problems. I can't afford to have my care be this disorganized. The communication procedures with this office are frustrating and not helpful. They refuse to use automated apps like Follow My Health and Continuous Glucose Monitoring. Maybe this place works for some. I'm changing my primary care doctor ASAP this week!

This doctors office used to be great. Lately not so much. I took time off to go and get a referral because they said that I needed to be seen in order to get the referral. Then they go and change it up on me and do a phone visit which by the way is what I was asking for in the first place so I didn’t need to take time off. Then I gave them the information for my referral and they never sent it in. Now I’m chasing them around for the referral and don’t get called back. Horrible service. I’ll be changing doctors soon. It’s not worth the headache.

I've been a patient with Venu Prabaker for half a year and have been waiting to write a review. Unfortunately, things have not improved and I'm quite unsure how this place has such high Google reviews.

Every single referral I've needed from this PCP has taken months--and I mean months-- to get right because the coordinators somehow always miss something when putting referral through. They've missed inputting the correct codes twice, one for my mammogram and one for an ear infection referral. I've, no joke, had to wait for a mammogram appointment for over 5 months because of their error, and the ear specialist referral has been delayed by nearly 2 months at this point.

I also needed simple blood draws when I first started seeing this PCP for an immunization check so I can volunteer at a local hospital, and this also took over 2 months to get right. Not only was it impossible to get a timely appointment to get approvals and papers signed, but I went into the blood draw center 3 times because each time, the nurse told me my PCP put in the wrong orders. I feel like I'm in some kind of a Twilight Zone with this provider--it's pretty unreal how they can mess up this often and this consistently.

Fortunately, aside of my ear infection and the needed immunization records, nothing has been super urgent. However, I would be very concerned about using this PCP if I had urgent and life-threatening health care needs. I am beyond disappointed by their unprofessionalism and inability to provide basic services correctly.

I went in today for my second visit with Dr Ferrara her and the nurse I got today was extremely kind and understanding. I came in extremely nervous due to previous experiences with other Dr's not listening to me or my concerns. I had come in one visit prior to this one and had not a quite a good experience with the first person I got before Dr Ferrara the first person I got was an older woman seemed more out of touch and everything seemed rushed. I'm glad I gave this place a second try and got Dr Ferrara. The receptionists seem okay. Sometimes they can be hard to work with but there is one specific receptionist who has always been great I think her name is patsy. She's always been a pleasure to work with and super kind and helpful. Even over the phone. Overall on okay place getting appointments can be a hassle at times and take a while but for the most part they are good just depends on what dr you get it seems like.

Hands down, the best Doctor I've ever had. The only Doctor to spend more than 5 minutes of personal time during my appointments to show true interest in my health as a person first, and not just a patient or number. He's truly shown care for me to the point of helping me understand that my overall health success as his patient requires a "partnership" between he and myself working together. And not a dictatorship.
