I been here a few times in this hospital do to my medical condition Im t12-t11 completed and I’m in here over a bed sore stage 4 and all I want to say is that all this nurses and cna’s are amazing but there’s 3 lady’s in special that are one of the kind beautiful human beings who are very professional 100% and amazing like ronita the best cna, she’s the lead at nite ,Desiree the Lvn and palwasha the nurse . I’m great full that I got to meet them during this time I’m in here . God bless them all. Thank u Central Valley u guys are like my family.:-).

When my husband was released from st. Josephs in Stockton we weren’t super clear about an LTAC facility. You are released because you are stable and needing special care but not emergency care. This hospital is great for getting you back to “healthy enough to go home” They worked with him (and me) and he is on his way!!! Can’t say thank you enough for all the care

The semi clean 4 person room wasn't bad. Curtains separated each. Use of the call button was issue they NEVER came but in 10 ir more minutes. Each option had own cna but mine hardly did her job. There are 2 that are outstandingly awesome but hardly got them. Pt guy Jeffery is rude and has attitude of my way or no way. Made not only me but several others VERY uncomfortable. Heather and Alex in pt made huge difference in positive way. A Nurse came to get me 4 pt told her been up mist the night coughing and leg cramps. She said if I decline then she'll report ne to doctor. I said fine to shut her up and went. When got in to pt I was coughing super bad and two other patients said oh hell no u shouldn't be in here. I near was in tears. Minute later nurse comes in with cough syrup. She left. Been several different times with simular issues. I need the doctor care to gear but going g into 3rd month now is making me lose hope and want to give up. But made my mom and now dead son a promise to ve here. I didn't even get chance to go to funeral.

My dad has been hospitalized at Central Valley Specialty Hospital for 17 days. Before his transfer, we heard negative feedback from nurses and CNAs at Doctors Medical Center, as well as from friends in the healthcare industry familiar with this facility. Naturally, my family was apprehensive. However, our experience has been far better than expected.

The care team—including an RN, LVN, CNA, RNA, and a Respiratory Therapist—has been incredibly attentive. They go above and beyond to meet both my dad’s needs and those of our family. The staff is patient, compassionate, and highly responsive, always answering our questions thoroughly. The doctors also respond within a reasonable timeframe. Since my dad is unable to speak, we ensure a family member is present during visiting hours to advocate for him. While I can't say whether the same level of attentiveness would be provided if he were alone, I do know that both my dad and our family have been treated exceptionally well.

I want to recognize five outstanding individuals for their kindness, compassion, and attentiveness:

⭐ Gurmeet (RN) – She cared for my dad for about 5-6 days and went above and beyond to accommodate his needs and our family's requests. She was kind, nurturing, and had excellent customer service skills, making us feel safe and secure. She addressed my dad’s thrush with incredible timeliness and care—almost resolving it completely before a staffing change led to a lapse in treatment.

⭐ Bitu (RNA) – She has been with my dad since day one and is always sweet, friendly, and in a great mood. Her compassion and empathy stand out, and she ensures my dad gets his scheduled chair time three days a week. She is a breath of fresh air and makes us feel reassured about my dad’s care.

⭐ Anahi (CNA) – She has cared for my dad on multiple occasions and is incredibly nurturing, friendly and helpful. She ensures he is clean, bathed, shaved, and groomed, which we deeply appreciate. She treats him like family, which means the world to us.

⭐ Karin (CNA) – She has cared for my dad multiple times and has consistently been kind, compassionate, flexible and attentive. We were truly happy with her care.

⭐ Osora (LVN) – She worked with my dad once, but in that short time, she was able to build rapport with every family member present. She was exceptionally kind, nurturing, and compassionate. She even shared her personal experience with her mother’s hospitalization, which was similar to my dad’s, giving us renewed hope in his recovery. Her interpersonal and communication skills were outstanding.

While our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, there are areas that could be improved. The hospital is notably understaffed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, leading to delays in care. We encountered one irritated worker on a Sunday, likely due to the staffing shortage, which stood out in contrast to the otherwise excellent service. Another challenge is the frequent rotation of RN, LVN, and CNA teams, making it difficult for staff to build familiarity with my dad’s needs. Additionally, my dad shares a room with two other patients, which isn’t ideal for privacy or comfort. Lastly, despite the facility's age and older equipment, everything operates smoothly, and we have encountered no issues.

Overall, despite our initial concerns, the staff has exceeded our expectations with their compassion and dedication. With improvements in weekend staffing, patient continuity, and accommodations, this facility could provide an even better experience.

The staff of central valley specialty hospital are wonderful. I am particularly touched by CNAs Christy, Anahi and Marie, also LVN Anna. They are simply amazing, an example of passionate and compassionate workers always very professional, exceptionally kind . They always provide excellent patient care to my mom. I am so impressed with how well they love and do their job. I am very grateful to have such amazing people taking care of my mom.

I recently had to stay at central velly specialty hospital Modesto. I can honestly say it was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. The entire staff from nurse to the doctors to the cleaning crew, were incredibly kind,attentive and professional l. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout my stay, always explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns I had. The hospital were clean and modern and the food was surprisingly good! Finally thnx for supervisor Gurpret, bitu gogna , Parveen parsed CNA lead. I would highly recommend Central Valley specialty hospital to anyone in need of medical care.

I have been here for Three months and they really took good care of me and recommend them if you need a good recovery hospital. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Thanks to RNA like bitu and all my nurse's here thanks 👍 and physical therapy did awesome job Alex.

I been in this place a few times do to my medical condition I have n all I want to say is that I’m very great full with this hospital, I’m actually here rite now healing from my surgery I had over a bed sore stage 4 n to be honest when I got here again from ucsf we’re I got my surgery .I felt like I was at home . Every one is very good people n very professional. There one nurse that treat me very good n she’s an amazing person one of the kind her name is Maribel Ortega thank u so much for been there for me!! Since day one n every time I come u always make sure if I’m ok or I need anything. God bless this place .
