I was provided a wheelchair after having a knee replacement done. The wheelchair was delivered, and nothing was ever said about it being a rental. No one from the company nor the hospital ever said it was a rental. So I Take it home from the hospital and didn’t think twice about it. I started getting billed from crest medical for the wheelchair. I tried calling them, and could not get a response. So after I recover, the wheelchair is just sitting in the basement. I keep getting billed, and think nothing of it because I knew my insurance paid, because I had met my deductible for the year. Finally, after getting billed an extra 50+ dollars, I get someone on the phone. They informed me that it was a rental. I told them I never was told that it was a rental. The lady on the phone apologized, and said they would take care of my balance. So when I return the wheelchair, the owner, an older man, meets me at the door and tells me that there would be no adjustment of my balance. I told him that his employee told me that she would take care of the balance, and he left the room for a moment. The lady that answered the phone came into the lobby, her face was flushed Because she knew she was lying, and she said that she did not tell me that. The owner said that I signed an agreement and owed him the additional time that I had the wheelchair not knowing that it was a rental. I told him I did not remember signing any agreement, because I had been on morphine and Percocet for the two days that I was in the hospital. All he could say was “well you signed an agreement”. All of this while he was standing in front of a Jesus Christ poster. I was under the influence of multiple narcotics if I signed an agreement which I have no memory of. Pretty sure there are laws against that. I am about to get an attorney involved. I would not do business with this greedy old man.

I had a bad experience with this company. They charged me $125 upfront for a nebulizer with the explanation that they do not accept Medicare assignment. They said they would bill Medicare monthly for thirteen months and Medicare would reimburse me a portion of the cost. Medicare paid them (instead of me) directly for several months, but they did not send the payment until I made calls and complained.

The other thing I discovered is that the nebulizer lists for only $60 and my same model can currently be bought online for $45 with a coupon. I discovered this when my daughter told me that she only paid $60 for her nebulizer from another medical equipment company. Lesson learned: do research before purchasing any medical equipment. Also, needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything from this company again.

This company way so amazing, they took care of all my needs and I had no hassle at all and no wait, normally it would have been three weeks. I had my Cpap in hand and out the door in thirty minutes. Thanks so much making sure I got my medical supplies.

After visiting several supply businesses, none of which showed any interest to assist me, I contacted Crest Medical. I found this business to be friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned about my needs.

I can see why this company has a 2.6 review rate. Talk about rude! Mike the owner has no sympathy for patients and in my opinion is in the wrong business. I would not recommend this company if it was the last company to choose from.
