Very disappointing customer service by this office. I got a call from a collection agency asking me to pay a bill that we never received because they have the wrong address on file after us going to them for multiple years and asking them at every single visit to correct it. I am disappointed that they did not even have the courtesy to call us to check to see if we got the bills and to make sure they have the correct information on file. I do not recommend the office because of admin and customer service issues, even though the doctors were amazing. Needless to say that we are not going back there again.

(edited) I'm writing to share our experiences with Children's Primary Care Medical Group, in La Costa. The care has been good; however, getting ahold of anyone at their office through their main phone number was a challenge. We generally have good luck with the portal. I had some concerns around billing and I got a hold of Cheryl at CPCMG. Cheryl listened, and made an effort to resolve my concerns. I understand they are having difficulty staffing their phone systems and are working hard to resolve it - which explains the difficulty with calling but good responsiveness with the portal. It is unusual that a company is responsive to online reviews and makes material efforts to resolve them, so I would recommend them.

All three of my boys go to this office. All of the doctors we have seen here have been kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve never felt rushed at my appointments and have always felt like the doctors and nurses truly care. We have seen Dr. Lee, Dr. Tanaka, and Dr. OConnor. They are great. The only thing not great at this office was lactation support. You need to go to the Oceanside location and I did not find it very helpful.

Do not schedule any visit with Dr.Goodwin for your female teenagers needs. She was extremely rude and condescending towards the typical changes in our daughters body and assumed our daughter ate only fast food & boxed processed foods. In addition scolded both myself and her for not being concerned about her activity level which she refused to support a sports clearance or care without even bothering to look at her existing chart for additional information. Saying "Patients with seizures shouldn't be participating in any activities" We have never had such a terrible encounter with this practice or any other CPCMG location in over 30years of care. I hope this helps you avoid a traumatic experience being that the management hasn't made any effort to address my concerns in two weeks.

I have been with CPC for three years and I feel that they are one of the best children’s care facilities I’ve ever had. They are connected to Rady’s in San Diego, and they are one of the best in the area.

My daughter’s doctor is Nicole Goodwin. She is the most caring Dr we have ever had. She’s truly invested in her patients and their feelings. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The girls adore her. One of my daughters came out to us last year and Dr. Goodwin was 100% supportive. She guided us and helped us understand as a family how to handle these uncharted waters. Sadly, we’re moving to another state in a couple of weeks, but if it wasn’t for that we would stay with her until the girls age out.

I highly recommend Dr. Goodwin for your family. She is the best.

I love Dr Burgamy and Dr Jacobson they are very understanding but the most big problem i have is my chart messages they respond very late and you should always wait for a long time and another problem is waiting in the room. sometimes you should be in room for about 30 minutes or more till see a doctor i know they are busy but we have to much things to do as well as a mom of 2 . My son loves dr Jacobson and dr Burgamy . If they fix these 2 problems they are the best

My daughter has been going here for over a year and I love it. The front staff are always friendly and kind. The doctors are highly qualified and treat my daughter with compassion with every visit.

Dr Burgamy Dr Lee and team are good when you see them in person. Anything administratively or MyChart requested is a NIGHTMARE - whether requesting Rx refill or a form required to register child for school - NIGHTMARE. Ex We had to follow up for weeks to get a topical for my daughter with eczema (by the time we got it she was fully covered in hotspots which led to MRSA by bacteria getting in her open spots from itching without her RX!), and now I only need ONE basic form - couple lines filled out on a template I sent them 'report of health' to register my son for school NINE days later I'm still trying to track them down. Initially office (via MyChart) said 3-5 days. After several calls and MyChart followups requesting from 2 doctors at CPCMG I finally got through to a human today - and she said "it is still sitting on the doctors desk. NINE DAYS LATER!! I CANNOT REGISTER MY KID WITHOUT THIS FORM. Same form required for oral - The dentist flipped it back same day!
