The staff is okay. Went today to try to get my prescription at 1 pm, no was there. I waited just a little longer, for another 20 minutes still no one was there. There was no sign that the office was closed for the day or anything. I even called later in the day no one answered the phone. At least leave a sign in front of the door if they are closed for the day.

I've had nothing but good conversations with the office staff. And Dr. Kerman was VERY PATIENT with me. I had to place my chin in a strap and then open my eyes real big so I think he could take a picture. I couldn't do it at first, he was nice and gentle and we got it done. I'm 57 and I acted like a child. Next week I am going to be tested by Dr. Lee for glasses. This should be easy. You'd be smart to try out the doctors, they're professional and very knowledgeable. Don't judge a good book by its cover. Read the book.

But I'll tell you what though if you don't pay your bill they don't mess around. If you keep in contact with them they are very fair. I forgot my co-pay and should of paid them. I learn quick.

I went to CVS Eye center to get a glaucoma test, on the advice of Dr Kothary, who was as filling in for Dr. Kerman. Almost a month later, I still had not gotten any results from the test; while the office was busy making excuses each time I called to inquire. They finally told me that the results of the test "didn't make sense", and wanted to schedule me for a retest in two months!
Of course I didn't schedule another test with CV Eye Center....no Drs. available, long wait for appointment, no follow up with patient whatsoever, overall a bad experience and waste of time....

Today I went to CV Eye Center for a contact lens examination. When I made the appointment, I told of my new insurance and situation prior to going in. I went in today, was the only client (that I could see, no one in the waiting room). They made copies of all the materials I brought with me (previous lens prescriptions). The receptionist/administrator at the front desk asked me if I was told about the contact lens fitting fee. I said no. I asked how much it was, she said anywhere between $40-$75 and it's not covered under my insurance. I explained that I have been out of work for 2 years, was down to only one contact lens, and was not prepared to pay the fee at this visit, and asked if they could bill me. She said she would check with the office manager, came back a moment later and said "no, sorry, we can't". I've never had this happen before. This was the most unfriendly doctor's office I've ever been to. The staff was very uncaring about my circumstances even though I was very clear about what I needed when making the appointment.

I will never go back to this eye center again. Zero stars -
