NOBODY wants to be in a position to have to be here... at least I sure don't. But the women I have met and worked with here were BEYOND helpful... giving me other resources, contacts and advise. Tanisha Reed is an AMAZING woman that has been helpful in a multitude of ways. They didn't make me feel less than, they were nice and again, have gone above and beyond to help me. I am truly grateful this place has down to earth, UNDERSTANDING, and compassionate employees 🙏

Although I did have to wait for about an hour to see a person, I was given advance notice and prepared for that.
When I did actually have a person in front of me they went through every possible stuff they could take to solve my issue!
The words County social services tend to instill all of us with waves of fear and doubt. I'm here to tell you after 40 years of advocating for myself and my healthcare around the country, this was one of the best experiences I have had in any social services situation.
And it was not an appointment. It was a walk-up!

Best experience ever at Medical Office Perez Rd. Thank You. Hi I am turning 65 yo and needed to update my paperwork to qualify and to choose my Medical Part B. I had received the medical paper packet in the mail. I filled that out and sent it off. I wanted to go in person to find out about what to do for my Medical Part B. The first morning I arrived at 8:15 am and there was a line out the door. I came back two days later and made sure I was there before their opening of 8 am. I was the second person in the door out of only 3 people waiting. The receptionist/worker named Lorraine helped me. She asked a few quick questions. I told her I also had received a letter from Social Security saying they were having me pay for Part B. She gave me a QMB form to fill out and drop off another day. The QMB form is to find out your eligibility for Part B. That is all that I needed to do! She was cheerful and knowledgeable. I did not have to wait in line but for a minute or two. I did not need to see a worker. Was super happy that Lorraine knew the next step I needed to take.
My advice to others is usually its very difficult or impossible to get thru on the telelphone. But using their Benefits cal Website and filling out the paper work you receive in the mail in advance can help! LOL. If you need help in person with a worker, I suggest coming a little early to get into the office in the morning. Once again. Quick and painless. Thank you for your help.

This office need help! In this place No one knows anything... They don't help, they confuse people, Imposible to talk to a case manager, No one answers their phone lines... This place is a headache seriously WOW!

Zero stars this place needs to be closed or replace your staff. The lady working window E today on 4/3/2023 around 2 pm to 4pm is absolutely rude and disrespectful. She was constantly saying loud enough for people to hear in the lobby that she is tired of people walking in and getting free benefits. She has a horrible attitude with everyone. She was talking about this with the other people behind the window. Not everyone is looking for a hand out. Some of us have hit rock bottom and have tried everything possible and this was our last resort. I already have been debating to come here for help and after today hearing this more than 5 times coming out of her mouth while I wait made me even more like why did I come here. I went on looking for a number to call and report this to but no luck if anyone has a number please share it. Worst place ever to come when your already feeling bad!!!!
