One of my worst experiences. For starters, the front desk is a nightmare. They lack commitment and all have an attitude of not wanting to be there. At times they’re rude and can be disrespectful and try to play it off as being “passive aggressive”. A worker named Reina is one of the worst ones in there. She always has an attitude and is just flat out rude. This is mainly the reason why I’m writhing this review because of her. If I could give this place a 0 star I would just for that worker. She lacks respect and is always rude.

Nightmare in Rancho Mirage. Optum Primary Care in Rancho Mirage, has become every patient's worst nightmare. After Dr. Taylor retired, Dr. Colon took over his practice. Colon does not explain things to you in a professional manner, instead he uses Latin based medical terms without defining them unless you asked. He does not make his promised follow up phone calls. If you try to call Optum, it will probably ring for 7 or 8 minutes and then just disconnect. Dr. Colon cut off my prescription which I have had for 13 years without explanation. When I finally reach someone they would promise to correct it, none did. I am 82 years old and this is the worst medical nightmare I have ever experienced in my life.

When Murray Taylor had this practice it was the best in the Coachella Valley. It is now the worst. They are absolutely totally unresponsive, not only to me but to other providers.
Any doctors other than these would be better.

I've been a patient of Dr. Taylor's for years and think he's a great Doctor. Ever since his Assistant, Megan left I can't get anything done. I just received lab work paper from them I requested a month ago. I ask questions and they don't get answered. I miss Megan, she was on top of it all the time. They just moved their office, I've asked twice where it's located and can't get an answer. I may have to give up Dr. Taylor as this is no way to run an office!

The Doctor is great!

The staff needs to return phone calls in a timely manner. I was given an appointment a couple of months earlier. I called the day before to confirm my appointment for the next day. They never called me back. When I showed up for my appointment they told me it was not until the following week. When I asked why? They said they had been very busy. To their credit they scheduled me for an hour later. We're all busy, but patients also need to be shown a modicum of respect. I will write a review again next time, but for now I can only give them one star even though I don't like doing so.

Made an appointment as a new patient 6 months ago and was called less than 24 hours prior to the appointment alerting me the doctor isn’t accepting new patients this year (the year is now two months in and this appointment was made last summer) and the appointment was cancelled. I could see a PA but not at the same day or time I was originally scheduled for. There’s was no remorse at all with the situation and the late notice was blamed on “a temp” who “must’ve missed calling a few weeks prior.”

Probably blessing in disguise as, if this is how the office treats people, perhaps not the best outfit to rely on for healthcare

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this facility. front desk is horrible! I tried setting up an appointment for my 82 year old grandma I had to call 5 times 5 TIMES to get anyone on the phone & when they answered someone by the name of Gloria gave us a bad attitude so I hung up. How are you a facility & can’t answer urgent patients?
