Dr. Fuller is an exceptional physician—in fact, the best primary care provider I’ve ever had. He is highly knowledgeable and clearly well-trained in his field. Beyond his expertise, he is incredibly caring, professional, and exceptionally responsive. Dr. Fuller takes the time to listen and address my concerns with genuine compassion and attention to detail. Dr. Fuller was very nice when I met him for the first time (took 8 months but that is typical to SLO). He said we would meet every year for a physical (since I am a healthy 40 yr old) and to reach out if anything came up in the meantime. Well, I was hospitalized for 5 days and needed to speak with him after discharge to discuss medications and a gameplan. We called his office every day for two weeks and he never called us back. We can see in the portal that there were messages left for him. I ran out of medication and had to call a friend to help me fill it. We felt abandoned and needed help in a bad way and he did not get back to us (my wife was in tears calling his office). It appears he has too many patients to provide adequate care. I feel bad for him because he seems like a nice guy but is clearly overwhelmed. I would look for a doctor that is available when you need him. I would not recommend Dr. Fuller to anyone.

I am a new patient of Dr. Chad Fuller, my Primary Care physician. I found him to be very pleasant, easy going,
knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and a good listener.
His staff, likewise, from the desk jockeys to the nurses, assistants, and technicians were friendly, timely, competent, and very helpful.
This was an excellent operation, top to bottom, and I am very happy to have such service with focused care.

Dr Fuller takes the time to understand what you’re experiencing he’s very thorough and I asks questions and what I like most about Dr. Fuller is that he understands that you know your body better than he does so he’ll ask you very specific things about your health, how you eat, your activities. All around great doctor! We’re lucky to have him on the central coast.
