Such a piece of crap experience. Don’t go here. I called the paramedics so I can be seen quicker. They literally sat me on a chair hooked to an IV and called it a day. No attention, no private room with warm blankets and an actual doctor examining you. Nurse took the blood and doctor looked at the results and said “looks like you have a virus” after pumping me with one bag an idiot nurse said, “you feel better now?” Of which I said absolutely not. So they gave me another bag(IV). Doctor stopped by and said “are you feeling better?” I said NO. He said well we’re gonna discharge you if you don’t get better come back and see us.🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️why would I ever come back to that service Don’t go here

My brother was ambulanced to this hospital and the first thing we did was check the reviews. We were scared to death. Because of his critical condition we couldn’t get him moved. But thank goodness we didn’t. I will just say this, the staff and doctors were amazing except for the ER Nurse named Norma! But everyone else from each person who came in contact with our BIG SAMOAN FAMILY as we visited our brother day in and day out to make sure he was in good hands.. were amazing. My favorite was the charge nurse Yasmin, she made sure we had everything we needed. I’m sure my siblings and sister in law had their favorites but she was worth my mention. Thank you to all the doctors and staff for treating my brother as best as you could. We islanders are definitely built different and you all made sure he was comfortable and came back to health. Anyways much alofas 🌺

IF YOU COME HERE JUST KNOW THERE WILL BE LONG WAIT TIMES!

I don't usually post reviews, but I felt the need to today. The only reason we came in was because my girlfriend was experiencing severe pain and numbness in her left arm. We arrived and checked in at 9. They performed four tests on her: urine, blood, ultrasound, and CT scans. Each test was done at different times, and we experienced long wait times, which is understandable since there are always other patients with their own issues.

However, there came a point when there weren't many people left, and we still had to wait just for the doctor to come out and tell us that they didn’t find anything and to follow up with her primary care doctor. I think it’s true what people say about them being understaffed or just not caring anymore.

My son was sent to this hospital by ambulance after a nasty motorcycle crash on the freeway. They did absolutely nothing for him! I’ve never seen an emergency room so disorganized my entire life. I realize that there are people with life-threatening issues, but he was completely ignored. They sat him in a chair in the hallway and never gave him anything for the pain. I managed to get one ice pack for him. I think there was only one ER doctor there. I watched how others were left in the hallway as well. Completely ignored. One nurse was picking her nose and checking out her cell phone. I have been in many ERs before and this has to be the worst!

The other day I buckled over with pain in my stomach...it came on in an instant and I had to call for an ambulance no one was home and I couldn't drive. The EMTs were nice at first but didn't give me anything to help with this pain a 10 out of 10. I got to the ER at PIH whitter and they left me in the hall in pain while nurses repeatedly said they're are other people in alot of pain waiting longer and we have been understaffed. I waited for 4 hrs constantly being ignored and told they were doing their best while talking of their weekend and personal plans right I front of you or helping another staff memeber when not even asked to assit just to avoid they're task. leaving me sitting unattended to and no pain management. I left having not eaten all day I lost the energy to sit in the wheelchair. Suffered all night to go to Queen of the Valley in the morning...their I waited 7 hrs. And not till the last hour when I requested the house supervisor did a PA come out and give me a prescription to go home having never seen a doctor. To both hospitals and staff I have something to say. I would never let you or anyone you know suffer if I could do something about it. But I don't have your job, or lack or of compassion. If I had a sword sticking out of my guts it would have been no questions about pain levels. Some pain isn't visible not even to a trained nurse. I know at these 2 hospitals that might not be able to be comprehended, but then you should find a new path where you don't cause harm to others...oh wait didn't u take that Oath of practice? How dare anyone of you claim to be their for the patients, go into work and act so damn entitled. May you never have to feel what you made me feel. You deserved to be sued so badly I invite any lawyer to contact me if you want the case. If that's what it takes to get care in your hearts so be it. Find a new career all of you!

Left my mom in a bed in the ER for 3 days telling us they didn’t have a bed or they didn’t have staff! I finally demanded they move her to a room or we were transferring to another hospital…they had her in a room in 30 minutes. 😡 Despicable! You should not have to threaten medical professionals to get basic treatment. Who knows what damage they caused to her during this incompetence. Curious how often this place gets sued for malpractice. You have to follow up 3, 4, 5 times to get meds, find a nurse, talk to a doctor, etc. I feel sorry for anyone coming in here without an advocate! They try to do unnecessary procedures, so they can bill your insurance…make sure you know what you are consenting to when they want to do ANY procedure.

This ER is understaffed, dirty and unorganized! I had to bring my father here, but if I could of left I would. This place is just disgusting! You come in for a medical condition unrelated to being ill but will definitely walk out with Covid19 or the flu. That's how unkempt this hospital looks.

I brought my 3 year old son in to the ER, he was sick and was breathing abnormally. The ER crew seen him within 15 minutes. And helped me so much with him. While we were waiting for a breathing treatment he started going pale in the face and I rushed him over to the doctor who started working on him right away with other nurses. He was given different tests and breathing treatments right away and had an IV put in They took us upstairs in the pediatrics level right away, and the Nurses were amazing! Thank you Nurse Toni👍 for everything. You made our 4 day stay so much better, and you were so attentive. So was Frances😊 and Alma😊. Our pediatric DR. TOUNG (I think that's how you spell it) was amazing and cared so much for my son, and didn't allow him to leave til she was 100% sure! Thank you to the respiratory team here at queen of the valley, you basically saved my son!
