If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is specifically about the urgent care nursing staff. They are all very rude and unkind. I will definitely be switching providers after our last visit. So disappointing to see health care workers act this way, please do you and your loved ones a favor and avoid Academic Family Medicine Center.

I've been a member of this provider for a long time. Maybe 8 years. I can always get to see someone but it's never my assigned Dr. Usually an intern. Which is fine mostly but I've come to realize that they don't actually do anything. They analyze and prescribe but I've now had three issues that Academic Family Medicine has left me without help.
The latest is numb arms and a contracted neck. Not good right? My arms have been numb for three weeks now. I can't get a response from my Dr. I did go to emergency and the did some tests, gave me 3 days of relaxent for my neck and referred me to a neurology.
Of course they're 3 months out so I'm stuck walking around like Quasimoto.
Can't sleep, can't pick anything up, can't wipe my ass.
No wonder they only get a2 star review.
I've gotta find help, I'm desperate and ready to hurt myself. I can't go on.

Please don’t come to this hospital It is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. I will say there is some nurses who are super sweet but most the staff is very arrogant and the doctors don’t help in anyway. I hear them gossiping about patients all the time while I’m in the room. Every time I’ve come here for any reason they never do anything to help and most the time they just reschedule for months ahead and say if anything gets worse go to the ER. And they always jump you from doctor to doctor because if you have a primary they are never available. I recommend you stay away from this hospital if you are looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable source for healthcare. I will never come here again.

Friendly helpful staff.
Bad management.
I give them only one star because of how consistently impossible it is to get prescriptions refilled.. I call. My pharmacy calls. I text. My pharmacy faxes. I leave messages in the patient portal, which is a joke in itself. Days and days go by with no reply. For this lack of professionalism there is no excuse. Home Depot has better customer service.

I have been happy with most of my doctors here, although things have slipped in recent years. But the front desk staff? OMG they are horrible. If you can get them to actually do their jobs that is a miracle. And don't expect a hint of politeness from them. Asking for an appointment or a prescription refill is like asking for a kidney. Actually, a kidney donation might be easier.

First timer here and hope my fantastic experience with the staff and Dr. Anders was not a fluke…
The front desk was very nice and helpful. Above all, my visit with Dr. Robert Anders was amazing. He listened to my concerns with great interest and took the time to do a thorough evaluation. All In all, I feel like I’ve known him for years, and have 100% trust in him. He seems to really want to help me and the pains I have been dealing with for 10 years plus. I just hope he is never replaced by someone else like others complain about in the reviews? Because he is the nicest, intelligent, and caring Dr. I have ever had.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we never discussed what I could get before my next visit. Meaning, meds, and or tips were given to help with my pain. Also, I needed to learn about getting help financially, how I have no disability insurance, and or money to pay for this visit? But, then again… how much can a Dr. do when he only has so much time for one appointment. (He spent an hour+).
I’m very excited to see him again in hopes that he has a game plan, and I can get my life back on track asap.
Also, I’m having difficulties with signing onto the app they have in order to be in touch with the Dr. And my medical file. But this is neither the Dr’s or the staffs problem.

They never answer their phone, for one. It automatically says they're at lunch between 11-12pm and I try to call around 8 when they open.
The help you do get is a waste of time. You're better off finding a way to heal yourself. You don't know how many times a doctor had been clueless and it seems like they google searched options.

If you have children do NOT go to Ruhi Patil !
She is disrespectful and should not be in this field.
She attempted to examine my child’s private area and did not want to wear gloves! When I asked her to, she gave me attitude and said she washed her hands. I said I still wanted gloves, I told her I have no idea who she is or where her hands have been. i did not find that appropriate! She then rolled her eyes and got gloves. She never acknowledged my feelings or apologized, after she was done she stormed out. I will NEVER go to her again. That is disgusting that she wouldn’t want to wear gloves. and i will be reaching out to the manager, i had the worst experience. She has seen patients all day and then wants to violate my three year old child. She is extremely unprofessional. Do not go go Ruhi Patil. !!
