They are very disorganized at this clinic. They had me waiting in the room for over an hour. I got there 30 minutes early. I was brought into the room at 9:30 am and didn’t leave until 11:30 am. Granted my appointment was at 10 am. When the doctor finally came in at 11 am he said oh sorry we forgot about you. I’m going to try to find another provider to give me my shot.

It was a absolute carnival. The payed staff was pretty helpful. My concern was the senior, retired, privileged volunteers with no experience, background or social aptitude to deal with this type of audience. I was asked numerous questions focusing on non apparent problems and my present challenges were overlooked and not validated by their attention. Most definitely an attitude or posture of "I know better because look where you are at". I never got to a Case Manager, animals running around, high noise level that took away any atmosphere of order and their so called "best P&J sandwiches in town" I tasted more bread than anything. They have Assurance Wireless giving away free phones outside, but nowhere to charge them because using their outlets in the building were not allowed to use. Where else can a homeless person use electricity? You would think at least for a couple hours at ONE STOP. Purley a waste of time even for a person that needs assistance. High anxiety, I heard more gossip than on a soap opera and the volunteers really didn't know how to react when I actually sounded like I knew what I was talking about and what type of help I'm a looking for. So... thrown to the wayside. I don't get in a washing machine unless I need a wash and this type of cycle I never want to experience again. I am not trying to take away from the identifications they give out or the sign ups for medical insurance some have never had. But for delicate cases the help wasn't there this day.

I was referred to this place after detoxing off pain pills. I have spina bifeda.. Meds were making me sick and would rather have pain than be dependent. I needed to be on suboxone which was hard to find a Dr to prescribe. The drs here do not take their oath seriously. I ended up becoming gravely ill. They kept prescribing me more and more meds. The drs were not available for emergencies which was my BP rising to 204/136 heart rate 161!I could have died. I had a Dr from my past I hoped would help. When I stated I didn't want to continue treatment months had passed I was terrified my heart would give out. The Dr left the room got another dr. They corned me as I was crying threatened me to say my previous Dr of severL years ago was illegally prescribing meds. None of my drug test were dirty by the way. They had me sign a paper giving them permission to get my records and bring charges against my Dr. I didn't want to do this. They threatened me with stopping treatment I was crying I was scared. Two weeks later I went back with my bag of 12 meds they had me on. Mind you I chose to be free of all meds which started this when I get so sick chest pains, blurred vision, dizziness. They refused to help. I decided to quit them before I died. I also demanded they resend the paper I signed which they did! So that complaint was canceled. I am suing these drs for the 2 trips to the er as they told me to take meds which gave me heart pain, palpation and shortness of breath. I had no other choice but to listen to them. I cannot afford these bills so I want reimbursement for them. This is fair donr want any extra. I'm hoping my story will help others so they are not taking advantage of. Call it my good deed.anyone who has had similar experience if you any help please reach out. I would be happy to help. These drs should be ashamed no matter how much I cried or begged they would not help. Horrible unforgiveable experience. Obvious care of patients is low on their list of what is right.

The place has a lot to offer ... Most of the time staff is friendly just overworked and under paid. The security guy has a bad attitude but other than that it's a huge help to people in need.

Long 2 hour wait to be told I didn't qualify for free medical. If you're homeless and have no where to be this is your hanging out place.
