What a mismanaged company. I gather every employee is an independent contractor and there is no master schedule. Different caregivers every time, even for same need. No consistency with scheduling or timing. You are always waiting for them to call you.

One nurse actually asked if I had the bandages and steri strips for the wound!!! No…that’s your job.

And clearly, there is zero communication between employees. Half the time they are here they are texting on their phones to get info. And each caregiver gives conflicting information. When you ask for clarification….they can’t. You would think they would know how to treat a knee replacement. It’s a pretty regular surgery.

Truly, if I didn’t have to use them, I wouldn't.

Edited to add: except for Maureen. She knew what she was doing. Asked the right questions, showed husband how to do the exercises, and was very thorough.

So I been a patient for some time and they are constantly ordering wrong supplies and or not on time . I’ve been re using straight catheters which is a big NO NO especially if you have bad kidneys like I do, also been told to wash and re use another No No!!!! I’ve, spoke with mgrs , certain nurses a director of operations all they do is passify you say they are sorry but nothing get done. Now have suspected uti and still haven’t gotten the correct catheters. They talk about me saying I complain a lot !!! Well this is the reason why!!!!
I will say this though all except one of my visiting nurses have been awesome and I do appreciate the care of my wounds when we have correct supplies .also very bad communication skills. And some office staff are not very friendly. Only some not all though .worst communication ever some of nurses either don’t call n don’t show or will say you didn’t answer your phone and never leave voicemail. I’ve missed multiple visits because of them being short staffed and not respectful my right because I’m not comfortable with male nurses . I could go on but mot sure if I’ll be in trouble for telling the truth.. they say I complain a lot !! I wonder why , because they can’t walk on me as they might do to others

Worst experience with in home help ever. Different people coming in every week, no communication, and then refusal to discharge / let patient go. They are still claiming patient status and keeping my grandpa from starting another PT through insurance. If they answer the phone, they are often rude. They don't return messages well.

I AM 81 years old and have been to 3 other organizations within the last 18 months for therapies with the same problem (severe hip arthritis diagnosed three years ago), pain in both my hip and all my leg muscles. I could not stand up all the way straight, lay flat on my back sleeping, lift my feet off the floor onto my bed, and lift my foot into the shower.
My Physical therapist Shiela Zabala clearly explains treatment programs, motivates me, and listens to my concerns to provide effective therapy. Shiela is very Compassionate and spends a lot of time interacting with me. Shiela has a very good Bedside Manner.
Shiela Uses Different Treatment Techniques and she has a great desire to help me to become well and mobile again.
Shiela is always committed to making the most of her time during therapy sessions and Uses Different Treatment Techniques and Motivation.
Shiela has sympathy, to help me when anxious about doing difficult or painful exercises.
Shiela Listen to my concerns, explains things clearly, and has good observational skills.
Shiela helped me Improve my mobility, movement, and Fall prevention. Now I can lift my foot onto my bed, into the shower, and able to almost stand up straight. I am very happy and grateful for Shiela's great effort and understanding in helping me. Thank you very much, I will always pray for her. I recommend her to anyone with mobility issues.

I have used the services of Best Home Healthcare twice now after surgery. The Nurses, PTs and OTs who have come to the house have been professional and knowledgeable. They have been reliable calling if they will be late and returning phone calls promptly. I have found them all to be warm and caring.
