I keep getting calls from this company. Every time I ask what services were provided they can’t tell me. When I ask who provided the care, I get “a nurse”. If I wanted to do a “who’s on first” “what’s on second” - I’d watch the original. They want to send me some document to sign, but have not really identified themselves. They need better organization and they also need to learn to communicate. Just serious insanity from this mess of a company.

When I was hired as a PTA in April I was told I would get at least 15 visits with patients per week. That has not happened. My first week I got like 4 patients and then once that was over I only got 2 more about a month ago. But yet will constantly send me patients in areas that are 5 hours away etc, NEVER my coverage areas which I have gone over with staff several times! Very frustrating to me being told 1 thing and then getting something completely different. The communication is aweful with the staff. I feel like this company is wasting my time and I am not happy about the situation, so check out all of your options before applying.

My first issue is lack of continuity in my mom's care. She was seen by three different physical therapists. Second, they call the night prior to schedule the visit. Medicare guidelines state that all patients must be provided with a schedling calendar in advance. For older adults who have several doctors appointments lined up, this is not convenient nor is it best practice. After my mom advocated for herself by requesting more consistent scheduling and providers, she was ignored. If Kaiser refers this company again, we will kindly decline and request another home health provider, which is our right under Medicare.

PT and OT did great but Home Health Bathing Aid did not start until we went into 2nd - 3rd week and provided only a total of 3 visits in 6 weeks.

My mom has dementia. We have a nurse coming by 1 day a week. The nurse called adult protective services because she pooped just before the nurse visited and told adult protective services that my mom was not taken care of properly , she had bed sores and we were not giving her medication properly. We had a 2nd nurse ckeck my mom for bed sores and could not find any. I called and spoke to a manager and the manager stated they did not report any bed sores but adult protective services, but the nurse did file a complaint and adult protective services will evaluate the situation and since you are careing for your mom properly, having them come out is to your benefit. The manager stated the reason the complaint was filed was my mom's grandson did not express enough interest in careing for his grandmother to make her feel good. So now we have adult protective services visited based on the fact that a nurse can determine a person intent in a 1 minute conversation. No issues or concers were addressed to the POA of my moms care.

Sheila Taylor was an absolute angel when it came to caring for my grandfather. She was attentive to his every need and very patient with his dementia. After he passed, she stayed with me and made sure we were all okay before she left. She made this whole process so much easier than I anticipated that it could be.

The lack of communication is appalling. According to Neogen Care, via speaking to them on the phone, the nurse calls the evening before to make an appointment for the next day. While this is troublesome in scheduling, we have now not had the nurse call the evening before twice and just expect that we will be ready. Calls to Neogen to report this are answered with, "we will need to get back to you."

Additionally, they tried adding on services without consent--services which Kaiser had not requested.

Everyone on the phone is kind, just nothing is fixed. I wonder what happens for others who do not have someone at home advocating for them.
