I wouldn’t recommend this program for treatment if you have a complex disorder of any sort- including severe anxiety disorders, neurodivergency (ADHD, autism, etc.,), or even personality disorders. I majored in psychology and many of the “suggestions” I’ve received as a patient were counterproductive and outright harmful for the disorders that I experience. I had an occupational therapist assigned to my team ask me if I just wanted to “collect labels” or legitimately be productive when explaining the obstacles caused by my conditions, because they ASKED about what my struggles were to begin with. My intention was not to “make excuses”; I would not have asked for an occupational therapist in the first place if I didn’t sincerely want to work past the obstacles created by these disorders. Even though I found this really rude and disrespectful, what I’m truly frustrated about is the idea that someone else seeking out the same support would have to deal with this- because it could cause so much harm to someone in a vulnerable place.

You should exercise some caution in working with therapists that claim they have ‘experience’ with a disorder and aren’t specialized in them, because this ‘experience’ doesn’t mean that the person assigned to you will actually know how to treat it, or that they will be following clinical research on how to improve symptoms. It usually means they will try to assist you with strategies that work on improving symptoms for mild depression or anxiety, and nothing beyond that scope.

I have been calling this place, and asked them what I need to do, I have been leaving messages and all I get is a call back but no answers, I called and this nice lady Dagmar is very helpful, and I called again, they don't call me and I have given them my cell number, this is ridiculous. When I had my first meeting, I had phone problems but now that I give my cell number, they don't call me, all I can do is leave messages, I'm very disappointed, yes they are very nice and helpful, but lately not with me, I need my meds, and they are giving me the run around, I give up on this place, arcadia Mental Health does a better job! I'd go back but I'm too far.
This place needs to improve, the staff is very kind and helpful, but the staff must return phone calls and be courteous. I hope the manager sees my review

Daisy in front office is very condescending attitude towards patients. For some reason Tricity allows it and make it difficult to put complaints. Everybody is always on vacay there.
No wonder Pomona mental health is what it is.

I got phenomenal care here. The therapists and case workers are so caring and positive. They give you the resources to be able to manage your mental illness.
I dis one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and gardening group and it really got me on the right path. Because of Tri-City, I am 2.5 years sober! They do cognitive behavioral therapy, too, a major plus.

Since I’ve started the garden therapy, I feel at peace and actually starting to get into my rock art interests again. Our group therapist is so understanding & compassionate. I’m feeling better & happy in some ways I matter in life.

Hello,
I have called Cinthia Garcias in regards to two children's referrals since April 20th and have not received a call back. I have left several messages on her voice-mail as well as with the operator, with her Supervisor and no follow up or call back whatsoever. I've called on April 20, April 21, April 27, April 30, May 3, May 6 and today May 7. Today I attempted to reach each one of the 4 staff members of the Best Practices Department to let them know my issue and seek assistance but just got all of their voicemails. Luckily no one is suicidal so I guess it's not urgent fod anyone... but just starting services through TriCity is seeming almost impossible at this point. Good luck if you get a referral through them.

I was a client at Tri-City for over two months, and I am disappointed in my experience for several reasons. They do not return voicemails and do not follow up as promised. Their lack of communication and professionalism is especially disappointing when they are serving clients with mental health conditions who may be less likely to chase and advocate for their care... I have been spoken to rudely on more than one occasion by phone operators (I got disconnected and one got really petty with me insisting she did connect me. I said. "It really doesn't matter, just connect me again please...) Lastly, I believe they did not keep accurate records of the number of groups I attended and asked me to repeat groups, impeding my progress to move forward. The only redeeming thing about the experience was Khaneal and Marva were good facilitators for the group I participated in. Overall poor experience with this agency and would not recommenced.

Therapists in the Garden therapy are soothing in giving another way of such serene form of thought guidance and leaving with a positive feeling while incorporating the garden. The Garden is growing well thanks to the few that attend. Thank you for listening and your pureness and help.
