Absolutely horrific company for providing managed Medicare services. They deny necessary services requested by patient’s physicians without any justification. They are disorganized and constantly give misinformation. They cannot be trusted.

I have been going to this labcorp location for years and they are usually extremely polite, but that was not the case this time. I arrived at 7:30 am and there were only five folks ahead of me, so I thought I could be out of there by 8:30 to make my 9:00 appointment a few minutes away. Once 8:30 rolled around, I made the mistake of asking Alicia where I was in the rotation and this did not sit well with her. Once she called me back she proceeded to talk down to me about “How customers like me are why she loves her job, and she appreciates my patience.” Buzz words for sure, but said with complete condescension and unprofessionalism. It was so disappointing because I usually have great interactions with the staff at this location. I almost filed a complaint with corporate office I was so taken aback. Hopefully she was just having an off day.

Today I made 15 weeks pregnant and my provider suggested I called Member Services to clarify co pays/out of pocket expenses before going to get lab work. I finally get through and I’m explain everything my provider explained to me and the lady on the other end of the phone belittles me and speaks to me as if I’m a toddler. She had the worse attitude of a woman who claims to been with the company for over 28 years and is the MS Coordinator. I’m not sure what her deal was but she should definitely check her attitude at the door when working in public service.

So is great care there. The providers are wonderful but their logic as far as the business services go makes no sense so the name of the place is urgent care but you have to have an appointment so if you’re having an emergency tonight and you want to make an appointment for tomorrow you can’t do that you can only make appointments during the same day as the emergency is that you’re having so you can’t just walk into this urgent care because you have to have a schedule for it but if you try to schedule it before you want to go say the next day or the next morning then you can’t do that I’m not sure who came up with this but this is stupid and I understand how doctors offices work, but this is in a doctors office. This is urgent care, so why we even make an appointment for an emergency?

My visit here was great. Dr Stanley qwock was very attentive and caring and his nurse does an excellent job as well. Lab staff was extremely polite as well and also the front desk.

Jay H the phlebotomist at the CHP labcorp at Centerville Road location was a great man. He really had me cracking up. His personality is very great. Just in case I forget to call I just wanted to leave a sweet message about him. Great job Jay H

CHP has gotten too large to service the needs of the community. Their doctors are so busy you have to schedule appointments months out. The PCPs seem like they are there only to delay you getting the medical care you need. They deny medical procedures despite being medially necessary and ordered by your doctor. I can not recommend CHP and advise you to keep looking for health insurance.
