Visiting this office feels like hanging out with really helpful friends. Dr. Hermida maintains a very relaxed, casual atmosphere while providing great care and advice. He is hands on in all aspects of the business and really works to make sure his patients are treated well and provided with what they need. He’s been my provider since 2020 and every visit has been great. No upsells, no frivolous charges. Family friendly!

It has been almost 25 years since I have went to have my eyes checked. In 2020 my sight started going blurry. I used reading glasses to compensate and that was working. I knew that I needed to have my eyes checked so today I finally did that. The optometrist was knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable. He has a great sense of humor and used it to help put me at ease. I would much rather go to the dentist and have all my teeth pulled without Novocaine than have any thing near my eyes or have test done on them. I highly recommend this site. His from desk employee was friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Best eye doctor I've been too. Friendly, attentive, and takes his time with his patients. I have never been rushed through an appointment and all my questions are answered. Dr. Hermida even helped pick out my prescription sun glasses while waiting for his next appointment to arrive. Great office staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. When there was a delay in my contacts, they gave me a two week supply of samples to use until mine came in. Not too many docs will do that.
I highly recommend this eye doctor to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I have been patients here for the last year. I am very happy with their service. Both mine and my daughters glasses came in with in a week and was notified right away. During Thanksgiving I had an eye emergency and was seen right away with no problems, even though it was his day off! It is a very relaxed office that makes you feel at home. It isn't some stuffed up, suit wearing, pay a million dollars, type of place. I love it and I love the attitude of the Dr.

Absolutely wonderful! Doc takes his time to explain and talk things through with you. He is very knowledgeable and gives you many options to save money if that's a concern.
Updated 2022: I think the clerical staff has been changed because no one picks up the phone. I ordered contacts back in April and they still haven't come in (its the end of May). It took me a week and a half to get someone the phone just to tell me they don't when the contacts will be in... Guess I am ordering online.

Small office, big heart! My two daughters and I recently traveled 2 hours for eye exams at ECAoB due to irrational COVID fears in my area. The young lady who took our appointment is as sweet as could be. She showed so much care and respect for us that we would travel there again without question. Dr. Hermida was exceptionally pleasant, welcoming, and professional. He is clearly a great leader and example for his staff. He did not rush through our exams. Instead he spent as much time as was necessary to ensure we had a thorough understanding of everything pertaining to our visit. I was concerned about my autistic daughter's visit for several reasons including whether he could obtain accurate results due to her diminished communication abilities. Dr. Hermida made her feel very comfortable and he skillfully conducted her eye exam in a way that she could understand. We are so pleased with her results and ours. Well done!
