When I needed care after a hospital visit in May 2024 and after surgery in October 2024, the Waterford Medical Center provided premium care! I found the entire staff to be highly trained, professional, friendly and most importantly compassionate. My recovery was greatly helped by the skill and care I received from the PT and OT department. While the Health Center is undergoing a total renovation, wing by wing, it never interfered with the daily life and activities provided for the patients. Wait until you see the attention to detail and beautiful new private and semi-private patient rooms. This is definitely a 5 Star facility!

More of a Bed and Breakfast than a Rehab.....my 65 year old wife came to The Waterford after having broken her hip and wrist. We came here from the hospital based on research and recommendations however our experience made us want out of there pronto! While it may be adequate for the elderly who do not need or expect much in the way of PT or OT. This was not as expected for an active 65 year old. PT and OT was not provided as frequently as prescribed by the Doctor. We found the care team more interested in obtaining more billable days than treatment. I am one who generally reviews providing praise and kudos, not complaints, but this needs to be known and posted.

Our family’s experience with Waterford has been nothing short of miraculous. When my mother arrived, she was in a dire state following a major ischemic stroke that had initially been misdiagnosed. She was minimally communicative, heavily medicated, and required extensive assistance for even the simplest tasks.
In less than a month, the dedicated team at Waterford has transformed my mother’s life. Today, she is a new person – or rather, she is her old self again. She’s chatty, charming, and funny. She walks independently, has a hearty appetite, and most importantly, she’s regained her zest for life. The spark in her eyes has returned, along with her upbeat attitude and excitement for the future.
We are profoundly grateful to everyone at Waterford for their unwavering dedication, genuine kindness, and exceptional competence. The staff’s expertise and compassionate care have not only aided in my mother’s physical recovery but have also rejuvenated her spirit.
To the entire team at Waterford: your work has given us back our mother, and for that, we cannot thank you enough. You’ve shown us the true power of skilled, empathetic healthcare. Up until today i would highly recommend the Waterford. My mom loved this place but she just passed away this morning and my brother has to get all of her stuff out of her room today. Where is the compassion and sensitivity for our loss? You cant even give him a day or so to grieve? Also when my mom had to move from her apartment to the Health Center they rushed her out. They were not thoughtful to her family that lived out of state who was helping to move stuff out. The staff are very caring but the people in charge are classless and in it for the money. Your loved one is not viewed as a person.

We received outstanding customer service from Maria in the sales office at Waterford! Maria took my call on Thursday and offered to meet on Saturday. She was so kind, helpful, enthusiastic, caring, and thorough. It is obvious that Maria enjoys her job and takes it to heart, seeking to get to know her customers and their specific needs. We were extremely impressed with her welcoming spirit. Maria made us feel comfortable instantly as we toured the Waterford community. We are grateful for the time she took to guide our family. This is the most wonderful professional rehab center my mom has every been in and she has been in many over the past five years the Waterford has given me what every family member going thru this difficult time something no other hospital or rehab has given that is the peace of mind my mom safe and in the excellence of care historically leaving my mom going home was horrible I worried constantly had to check on her care the Waterford has been on top of everything and above I’m posting this so they know that me leaving my mom in someone else’s care the most difficult then however this experience has given me such relief during such a emotionallly difficult time that you everyone one of the people who work there you all are awesome and I’m so grateful to you all💕

I recently went to The Waterford and felt so comfortable entering their facilities. At their front entrance they have a team member checking your temperature and asking detailed questions to make sure it is safe for you to enter their facilities. I appreciated all the care they took into making sure everything was clean and safe. Each team member was smiling and happy to help with anything I had a question about. I am so glad I have Waterford taking care of my family members, makes me feel comfort.

The Waterford has been an absolute amazing family to all of it's team members and residents through these difficult times of a worldwide pandemic. Between residents, team members, and families they have been able to provide a safe and homelike environment despite what has been going on around us. The Waterford truly values the residents and team members safety and well being. From the security team all the way to the culinary team for Residential Living Residents. Then the nursing team has even taken it to another level. True heroes. They have been absolutely amazing. They truly care, show compassion and love for our residents that are unable to see family members while they have been until there until recently. The Waterford is such an amazing place to live and work.
