The medical assistants are always professional and a true delight. Dr. Plaza is beyond exceptional, her knowledge of job, the love she puts into the care of her patients based off of their needs. What she has can not be taught, I am forever thankful for her and wish there were more professionals like her.

5 stars for Dr. Heroux, zero stars for the office and it’s staff. It just keeps getting worse year after year, and I’ve been a patient here for nearly 14 years.
As many other reviews state, Dr. Heroux is wonderful. As for the office, first of all, they rarely, if ever answer the phone. If they do, you’ll be on hold for 15 minutes and they’ll disconnect the call. One would think, well at least there’s a portal to make appointment online, only to find out when you show up that the Dr is not there, despite your appointment confirmation,
I took the day off for an appointment I had made online. Made the appointment 3 weeks ago. Arrive to find Dr. Heroux is not even there for the day. When I asked why in the world would a system book an appointment, send you a confirmation, to be told she’s not there, the only reply I received was, “it’s HCA, it’s HCA, it’s not us”. My time is just as valuable as anyone else’s. No apology, not even a remote comprehension of why that is wrong and not a proper way to do business.
I was then told that they call people who make online appointments. Nope, no phone call, no voicemail, no email. When I mentioned it’s impossible to make an appointment over the phone, I was told, “we’re short staffed”, “I’m new here”. I’ve heard the short staffed excuse for the better part of 5 years now.
Kierra Alexis(the name she gave me) should not ever be dealing with the public.
She clearly couldn’t care less, and had an unacceptable attitude regarding the situation.
When I asked for a contact to lodge a formal complaint, she said, “you can go to the HCA website and look it up online”. No, if you want to blame HCA and take no responsibility, you can give me the information. I was eventually provided an email address. As I turned to walk out I stated the need for this office to learn how to run a business. She then laughed. I walked back to ask her if she thought it was funny that I took a day off of work and have no appointment due to easily fixable issues on their end. Her reply? “I really don’t care - you were rude to me first”.
It’s perfectly reasonable for someone to ask the questions I did and to expect some acknowledgment of my inconvenience due to this office’s utter incompetence.
Such a shame that a fabulous Doctor whose patients value her have to deal with a repetitively awful experience with the office staff.

This office is slowly running into the ground. Dr Heroux is an amazing doctor but the staff is unbelievable. It takes 4 hours to even get through to the answering service. Let alone when I had a biopsy scheduled at an office and had to wait 2 hours to be seen because they hadn’t sent over the referral and then again wouldn’t answer the phones. It’s ridiculous!

Terrible practice. They rescheduled my appointment 3 times.

Dr. Plaza was dismissive of my concerns. She didn't take the time to read the medical history that I brought that explained all of my concerns and symptoms. She made diagnoses without tests aka she made assumptions about my health.
She wouldn't hear me out. It's important to be heard and not dismissive.

She started the visit (before saying anything else) with "So I hear you have anxiety." She has never even met me before.

She said not to drink caffeine and then said to take Midol which has caffeine in it, so she contradicts herself.

If you think seeing a woman would be better then think again. A man would have had more compassion.

Zero stars if I could. DO NOT USE!

Dr. Yocoima Plaza is one of the best doctors I ever had. Most caring, courteous and sensitive to your needs. I am so grateful for having her as my doctor and for treating my special needs daughter and the outcome of her procedure. Her professionalism, respect and work ethics are outstanding!!! I highly recommend her.

I would like to thank my Dr Heroux and her experience staff for being Professional and so kind to me and I love Dr Hroux she take the time to make sure you understand what she is going to do and make sure you are feeling comfortable it's like she hand picked her staff they smile and greet you as you go in I appreciate this kind welcome.

Horrible experience. I made an appointment in July for mid-September. On July 10th, I was sent an email titled "Appointment Confirmation" for my selected appointment date and time in September. The email advises that I needed to contact the office directly ONLY if I could NOT make the appointment. I showed up for the appointment and was told I didnt actually have an appointment and that I couldnt see the doctor until the next month. Front desk staff was unprofessional , unhelpful and unapologetic. Please improve the appointment scheduling system to provide accurate information and STOP hiring 'personnel' that can't behave professionally in the work place.
