I grew up in the area and always loved going to the Country Salvage Store with my parents. I recently introduced my husband to this particular store and he was amazed. He loved the bargains, and the cleanliness of the store. We found Wheat Thins in dented boxes for just $1. There were boxes of Oscar Meyer bacon 12 one pound packages for just $26. We spent a total of $114 and brought home more groceries than we would have if we had shopped at the regular grocery store. They also bagged the groceries for us and loaded up our car. The service can't be topped. Inside there was a cute little place to sit and have a coffee if you wanted to. Highly recommend!

There's always good deals here and a very nice selection of groceries. They're meats are amazing quality and you can't beat the prices. They have a variety of spices, too. Employees are friendly and helpful.

This is not hidden, but lesser known gem in the Arthur/Tuscola/Arcola Amish region. It has a moderate to larger fresh produce section and a lot of variety in the standard grocery items. The meat case is amazing with whole ribeye and whole sirloin sections that are 1/3 of the current price per pound for single ribeye steaks. Similar bargains in the hamburger options. Well worth the little farther drive to shop here
