I am reviewing after my initial visit. The team of staff were all very friendly and helpful. My appointment was on time and I felt everyone was very knowledgeable. Dr Flood came recommended to me by a trusted friend and I felt very confident that he (and his candor) can help me. My prescribed treatments were put into motion immediately, from an oral prescription being faxed to my physical therapy order being faxed and I was able to schedule those appointments right next door.
So far, this process has been easy!

Love Dr. Ferrari and staff. Friendly knowledgeable. Like Dr Ferrari’s approach, not quick to push surgery, gets to know you and what will work with you. You don’t feel rushed he listens and teaches in a very understandable way. I had been given very good referrals for this practice and very glad I went with them. I would highly refer Dr Ferrari! Continue to love this practice, have referred to friends and they have been very happy with care. Have Saturday hours which is great if you work all week.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. They got me in quickly and relieved my pain from an ingrown toenail in the same day. They were kind, thorough, gentle, and made me feel immediately at ease. Dr. Michael Ferrari was warm and thoughtful, making me far less anxious and gave clear follow-up instructions on how to continue my care at home. At my follow-up visit, he remembered our conversation and addressed all my questions. I’m so grateful for their care and will continue to drive more than 30 minutes to see them over another practice.

Every staff member I encountered at the Arlington Heights office was very friendly and professional. Dr. Flood has a very calming and nice personality. There was no wait when I was there and X-rays taken on site. My husband and sons have also had excellent experiences with First Step and I highly recommend their practice.

Very nice, large, modern facility with a number of Dr’s to choose from. Nurses were great, loved Dr. Flood. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and provided a lot of materials to help me manage my injury and minimize future running issues. My husband is 76 and can't clip his hardened toenails so I took him to First Step today. Dr Ferrari was extremely professional but also warm and friendly. He was very gentle and did an amazing, thorough job. Not only did he cut my husband's nails, but then filed them smoothly with an electric file then applied lotion to his feet and ankles. We are so grateful! We will definitely return in the future. Medicare states we have to wait 63 days to be covered. But we will be back. Thanks, Dr Ferrari!!!

I’ve just started going to Dr. Flood and have had 2 visits. I’m VERY impressed with the overall care and concern he and other members of the team give. All are very informative /helpful. He takes the time to go over pros and cons to various treatment options. It’s so rare anymore to get a Doctor that will actually listen to what’s going on with you. 5 star treatment all the way!
