I completed about four months of physical therapy at this Athletico after undergoing shoulder surgery. I initially started my therapy with a different provider and it was a world of difference in the quality of care offered at Athletico. Angela Bartsch is AMAZING! She pushed me to achieve my goals while also working out soft tissue issues that arose while I was getting my strength back. I never felt like a patient here, I felt like a friend and that my therapy outcome wasn’t just a metric to them— they genuinely care about the well being of anyone treating there! If I ever need physical therapy again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I appreciated the complete evaluation on my first visit that identified the most helpful therapy for my back, hip and leg pain prior to my scheduled steroid shot. Turns out I had trouble just standing up from sitting in a chair and for the next 3 weeks we worked on strengthening core and other muscles that made standing up easier. Everything we did was focused on what I was dealing with and prepared me well for my shot and reduction of pain and resulting increased physical function. Damian Skalak was my therapist, and he was great! Very productive sessions.

Kudos to Michelle, My PT at Athletico. I just completed extensive knee rehab, she was my PT. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and most important- encouraging. She was with me step by step through the rehab process. And I am very happy with my success! Kudos to the staff in general at Athletico also. Ultimate group of professional team players. I would recommend Michelle in particular and anyone at Athletico in general if one is in need of rehab.

I have been going to Athletico AH on and off for years for different body parts. Always a great experience with all of the therapists! I have been seeing Kelly Hayes for Dry Needling for a few months and it is a great experience. Kelly was sure to explain everything to me and worked with me to get over my fears. I have had so much success with the dry needling that my shoulder is almost healed!

I have been going to the Arlington Heights Athletico twice a week since August 18, 2024 for shoulder replacement physical therapy. Damian is the BEST! He always knows just how much my new shoulder can be stretched and strengthened and which exercises for me to do to work towards my goal of complete recovery. I have been getting treatment at Athletico Arlington Heights on and off for a couple years and everyone from the front desk, aides, and therapists with various specialties are great. I have seen Kelly for PT and especially dry needling treatment for ongoing various issues after shoulder surgery and other muscle/tendon problems in arms and legs. She has also done a fantastic job of explaining problem area issues, therapeutic massage, teaching various exercises and stretches, and her skilled use of dry needling to release stubborn muscle knots/trigger points. I have been using Athletico in Arlington Heights for many years. This team is AMAZING! I recently started a new type of therapy (dry needling) with Kelly that has vastly improved my chronic pain.
