I've waited 3 months for an appointment. I've had the date circled on my calendar. I've been fairly miserable the past 3 months after having my gallbladder removed. 6 days prior to the appointment I'm informed the appointment is being cancelled. They have to reschedule me out another 5 months. I'm stunned.

Update: After making the post above, I was able to get an appointment with another Gastroenterologist outside Hendricks. Within 3 weeks I have had a consultation, an upper endoscopy, a diagnosis, and a potential treatment plan. A far better experience than the 8 months Westside Gastroenterology was going to make me wait.

I have called twice to get my daughter in for an appointment because she is very ill. I spoke with Jessica who answered the phone and she was not empathic or compassionate at all. Working in a hospital setting I was in shock. She pretty much said I can't get her an appointment until December. My daughter's primary physician sent a referral being concerned. I am very disappointed. I will be finding another office. This was a horrible experience. Thanks Jessica !!!!!

I tried for 2 months to get an appointment for a medical issue and no one answered the phone or returned my calls. Someone just called me and wanted to schedule a routine colonoscopy for 3 months from now. I told them the issues I was having and said I needed to schedule an appointment for an exam and was told she would give a note to the Dr. That was 3 weeks ago and haven't heard from them.

Obviously this office is too busy to provide proper care to its patients. Very disappointed.

From the first time I met Dr Rice, he was amazing. He herd me, he listened, and genuine cared about what I was saying and how I felt. I've never been able to meet a dr where right off the bat I felt comfortable with them to be open about everything, normally I get a rushed feeling from other doctors, but not Dr Rice.. The communication with him is amazing as well, he will call you or message back asap about any questions or concerns. I just wish there were more doctors like Dr. Rice. If you're needing a gastroenterology doctor, look no further!

I give very high praise to Doctor Foster. He is the second doctor I went to for an issue, and he was the one to properly diagnose the problem, when the first doctor failed. He takes the time to explain... overall an excellent doctor.
