This place has been a place of refuge! My daughter has a lot of struggles and they go above and beyond to help her for about 3 years now.(this office is new but before in Houma). They fight to get every service that we can to try to help her every need. They work with family to create a game plan to help in whatever area you need. Thank you to all the staff and professionals here! Our lives have been hard the last few years but you have truly made a difference in making it somehow better.

Lack of communication and professionalism. The lady I spoke with in the case management department kept trying to turn it around like i was trying to blame my potential case manager for communication errors when i didn't even so much as imply it.
The problem was my assessments have always been done over the phone and i was never told that that was any different now until today AFTER i called to see what was going on. They also said that i was supposed to have transportation pick me up, but they never called or showed up. I truly don't think I was even scheduled to begin with.
Instead of fixing the issue in a timely manner they scheduled me far out into the end of the month and trued to blame it on insurance.
That to me is not acceptable. And she kept on trying to harp on the fact that my case manager didn't mess up and was professional. Like harping on trying to say I was claiming the case manager messed up, which I stated multiple times I never did or even implied. So either this lady lacks comprehension, and if thats the case, she doesn't need to be ahead of that department or shes being willfully obtuse in order to deflect blame. Which isn't professional or how you correct a mistake.
Instead owning up that there was lack of communication and information. She kept trying to tell me it was a new process or whatever and how she was sorry if I feel like they weren't helpful or like i felt like communication wasn't properly conveyed.
Very condescending and rude. I felt like communication wasn't conveyed because IT WASN'T! If you truly need help. Avoid this mess.
