I can't speak on the actual care provided however the customer service at the reception desk is laughable. I went in to pick up a work permit for my daughter today. Unsure of where to actually go I went to the check in window and after being glared at for an awkward amount of time, the receptionist unenthusiasticly opened the glass partition and didn't say a word. I walked up and stated that "I'm here to pick up a work permit for my daughter." The receptionists response - "What work permit?" Huh? How do you even respond to that? I said "The work permit I'm here to pick up" After giving her the information she needed a much more pleasant blonde haired woman stepped in I got what I went there for. The whole interaction probably lasted about 3 minutes. I hope this review makes it to someone who actually cares about customer service. To the receptionist that "greeted" me - You're the face of the entire organization. A smile and a pleasant demeanor goes a long way...

I have never been more disgusted in a pediatrician in my life. Not only am I in the middle of a nightmare with my son but it actually says in his chart that the urologist read to me that "he's been suffering with stomach issues his entire life." However nothing has ever been done, mentioned, or suggest to me about this. Even though we've had him in and out of that place a thousand times over stomach issues they've assured me It's nothing. Something he would "grow out" was what Dr Ryan assured me of. Well now that he's 17 he's not growing out of it. We have to go see a GI specialist. She missed a huge sign, and a huge red flag but seem to think nothing of it. God forbid you try and get a hold of somebody in this place because you'll be spending about 8 hours on hold.. By that time one of us will be dead! Dr Ryan has either missed some serious red flags, ignored the red flags, or just does not care about the red flags! Time to retire. I've never read such bad reviews about a doctor in my life.

Dr.McGowan is absolutely wonderful!!! She always makes my kids feel so comfortable. She connects with the kids and answers all our questions. I know it is a very busy practice but I never feel rushed.

I'm extremely frustrated with the scheduling system. Today, I spent 20 minutes on hold to schedule a same-day sick visit. Thankfully, the automated system allowed me to leave my number for a callback, saving me from continued hold time.

However, the callback interrupted my session, and after answering intake questions, I was told no appointments were available for the day. To book an appointment for tomorrow, I was instructed to call back and repeat the entire process.

Despite trusting the quality of care, this inefficient scheduling system is driving me away. I struggle to get my kids seen when needed, and the unnecessary repetition is wasteful. A more streamlined process would greatly improve patient experience.

Needs improvement for patients' sake.

I called at 8 AM. They answered the phone at 8:47 AM. They told me that they had no appointments at all, and they could not help a sick child. I said OK what should I do? They said if you call right when we open, we will be able to help but I did call today. I’ve been on hold for 47 minutes. I called the right one I was allowed to and was not helped.

They actually told me to go to a different doctor because they can’t help me. This is a simple sick visit for a child.

Pick a different office so you know what you’re getting into there’s many different offices out there that actually care for children the way they should be

Used to love this practice, not any more. Dr. Marino was not pleasant to deal with at all. Not to mention calling first thing before they even open and waiting on hold for 50 minutes, then they run out of appointments. Very frustrating.

We switched from a different pediatrician and I didn’t realize just how horrible they were until I saw how wonderful Child Health Associates in Auburn is. Both my kids have been seen same day when I called sick. They did testing and got results back immediately. They were attentive, knowledgeable, caring and passionate. I can’t recommend them enough. Every time we’ve gone there has been no wait. We are taken in and attended to right on time. My 3 year old has had ongoing illness that was ignored with his prior pediatrician. Dr. Marino immediately sent us to a specialist and we found a resolution. I am so grateful we made the switch.

Took my son for a scheduled app but was charged emergency fees with no explanation... at the time of exam we informed then about the test we took earlier in the day and they would not acknowledge it and charged us $150 for a $10 test without us informing how much it would cost, and they are blaming us for this and said we should have known it will cost us but how are we supposed to know how much that will cost us if they are not informing us in advance. worst experience ...
