Walk in and immediately was getting yelled at in front of there rep. The lady “ client service person” is so mean and so rude that the Dr had to calm her down. I had gotten a prescription for classes and was looking for a certain frame and just wanted to look at there selection. The lady assumed I was on mass health and said they’re not gonna cover my prescription. Would not recommend, I never had a worst experience. She needs to learn people skills. I would give zero.

Last year was the worst eye doctor appointment I’ve ever had at My Eye Doctor in Sturbridge. This year I selected Auburn Vision Center and I’m really happy I did. All of their services from the appointment with Tracy, the visit with Dr. Larsen to Mark helping my wife and I both select glasses was smooth and easy.

Still refuses to refund my $160 for contacts I couldn’t see out of and they said they were fine. Any place is better than here.

Refused to properly bill insurance leaving us with a copay we should not have had. I even called the secondary insurance in the office who said it was covered and they refused to bill them. Refused to cancel our order for the glasses that we made prior to learning about the business practices. We never want to go back.. don’t even want the glasses may just leave them there! If you are using Medicare and or Masshealth beware and ask lots of question cause they don’t tell you anything until the end! Filed a complaint with Masshealth and the Attorney Generals Office. Looking at BBB and the state healthcare complaint line too

I used this optometrist for the first time since moving to Auburn on 10/28/2022.

I paid for a new pair of lenses for $238.00. I asked him to submit my claim for reimbursement to my insurance company but he refused disagreeing with the verbiage in the insurance contract stating he would never be paid for a lenses only claim. In his opinion the claim must contain frames and lenses. It is a reimbursement for me and has nothing to do with his income.

I contacted both my insurance companies who told him he was incorrect in his interpretation of the contract but he refused to submit my reimbursement claim.

Both of my insurance companies are submitting complaints against him.

As to the front office staff, the secretary and technician they were very friendly and professional.

Yet, the doctor's position to not help me is wrong as he has a contractual agreement to do so.

I will not be a return customer.

Been going to Auburn Vision for 20 years. I have trusted Dr. Larson with my complicated prescription and he always gets it right. My adult children have remained with him as well. Professional services and takes the time to listen to concerns. Very friendly woman at the front desk.

The man at the desk is very rude! On both visits I never seen him sanitize anything after each customer. Had me wait didn't assist me with any frames, except to say those are very expensive. When my glasses were ready. He just handed them to me. And said Your done. When I had glasses before else where, the customer service person had me sit and made sure my glasses fit properly. I dont want even to press on the 1 star, but order to post U have too!!

The staff was accommodating to my needs. My 4 children needed glasses although I didn't get the exam don by him. We were able to get the glasses.
I myself feel comfortable and its a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this office for all your vision needs.
