DO NOT ask a question or discuss an ongoing issue to get an RX filled during your free annual physical- they charge you a separate office visit charge on top of your free annual physical. So now we have to pay $100+ bill because he asked for a prescription for an ongoing issue.
The rude woman at the billing office ( not the Dr's office) legit said " ok then we'll see you in court" when I said it was ridiculous. Absolutley unreal and money hungry scavengers taking advantage of customers.
When we reached out to the office about it- their response was "it's how they bill based on notes"

EDIT 2: I finally got an appointment and was informed that they can no longer provide me with care because of my use of "hostile and inappropriate language." (See photo)
It appears there is time in the doctor's schedule to tell me off but not listen to my health concerns. I was informed this decision came from the doctor who I never had a conversation with until I was 'let go'.
I had a good experience at the Mansfield Sturdy location. If you are need of primary care and want to stay with Sturdy, I would suggest trying that location.
EDIT: I am downgrading my review from 2 stars to 1 star. I emailed the person the review response told me to. I attempted to explain my case in a calm and kind manner, stating that when people feel as sick as I do, it is impossible to "be patient". The conversation was a progression of me trying to get my concerns validated and then being lectured about why she didn't feel a need to do anything about what happened.
I think the underlying issue here is structural. I was speaking with a 'nurse manager'. When I call about customer (i.e. patient) service issues, I should be sent to a customer service person, not a medical provider. Medical staff have notoriously awful bed side manner and don't recieve proper training on how to have basic human interactions and mutual problem solving.
If Sturdy O'Neil wants to act more like a business than a place for patient care, then do it but do it effectively. Otherwise you will continue to recieve bad reviews and lose patients.
Sturdy is the epitome of when 'capitalism meets healthcare' is done poorly.
ORIGINAL: I have been with Study Associates for my entire adult life. The doctors themselves are wonderful.
However, if you wish to ever see your doctor or speak to a human who knows what they're talking about, I'd suggest going elsewhere.
This is very disappointing for me to write as I had stayed with this office despite moving an hour away years ago because the care was so good.
It is now impossible to get an appointment or even get a message to your provider.
Shame on Sturdy and associated insurance companies for limiting access to care for the Attleboro community.

Dr. Loew is both caring and competent. I am delighted to have him as doctor. Unfortunately, getting to the office staff for any prescription related issues is a nightmare ever since they consolidated all offices a few years go. There is a huge telephone tree, and on top of that, you always reach a gatekeeper who takes notes and promises to have the staff call back. They do not call back on a timely basis. It is frustrating, and I would have moved to another practice had it not been for the good and caring doctor.

Unhelpful to say the least. This office is supposed to be filling in for my doctor who’s away until 5/1/24. I called them Sunday 4/21 because after already going to urgent care Saturday 4/20 and having tested negative for everything covid flu Rsv-etc. and Normal chest X-rays I figured I have a sinus infection which is not new for me. The doctor on call who returned my call to the answering service basically said she can’t do anything to help me and go to urgent care in Plainville , MA on Monday the 22nd after I said again I already went Saturday to urgent care. She kept saying “well I don’t know that.I don’t know that”. I said I have Mychart on line. It’s all there.
She’s like again, “I don’t know that. I’m supposed to just trust you?”
What!!!!!!! Now you’re insinuating I’m lying?!! You might have thought I asked her to prescribe me freaking narcotics! I simply mentioned it’s more than likely a sinus infection.
I am known to get them a few times a year & I’ve been out of work now for over a week and needed to return to work on Monday to the 22nd. I said my doctor would always see me or if it wasn’t possible to in a timely manner he’d call in the zpack and I’d feel so much better.
My head was so congested that morning my eyes hurt to move them. I can’t breathe.
She didn’t listen or care and said you’ll have to go to planville Monday so they can test your lungs! Are you kidding me? My lungs what? I said a sinus headache -Eye ache congestion etc. I didn’t really complain about the cough and what part of I already had chest x-rays on Saturday and they came back normal did she not hear? So uncaring and not evening listening to me. . I must’ve been interrupting her Sunday brunch!! I wouldn’t call on a Sunday if I didn’t fee l horrible and want some help.
I wish I got her full name because I will be letting my doctors office know when they return on May 1st how helpful she was NOT. All I know is her last name began with a “P”and she had an accent No compassion!!!!
Also, why if she was so adamant I need to see a doctor AGAIN in person did SHE not offer to make me an appointment at the Attleboro office which is covering?!!!!Why the hell do I want to go to Plainville? Unbelievable!!!!

Admittedly, I haven't been there for a physical in a few years (because every time I did I left feeling bad about myself) but was a patient the for 15 years. I was advised by the minute clinic to follow up with my primary care about my illness so I reluctantly called. When they returned my call they were rude and condescending, telling me they wouldn't help me and I had to go somewhere else. I would have to be cleared for my current illness then they would consider setting me up as if I'm a new patient. Why would I choose to go somewhere who refuses to help someone when they are sick?

I've been a patient here for quite some time now. Attleboro associates have switched doctors on me 3 times in roughly 10 years🙄 my most recent doctor currently isn't working with me too well. I'm not going to mention any names. He's been trying to put me on statins the past 3 times I've been in this office. He wasn't too helpful in listening to my concerns. I'm sure a lot of doctors are like him😒 anyway if anyone has high cholesterol, magnesium oxide at 2.3mg per 1 pound of body weight could be effective just as well. If you smoke, your body doesn't absorb magnesium as well as before you smoked. And if you're unaware, "extreme stress" can cause high cholesterol. Magnesium oxide could also treat anxiety too. Don't be fooled by professional drug pushers. Advocate for yourself and put an end to big pharma and their manipulatio buying out doctors. This business would of gotten a 5 star if they treated their clients like they were family, rather than a business.

Dr. Lucy is the best doctor I have EVER had in every category hands down; from "bedside manner" to his medical knowledge and approach to wellness. He's super organized as well coming from a patient who has a lot of issues to juggle. I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor.

Today I had an appointment to see Dr Vaughn. Myexperience.appointment was for 8am. Due to some minor traffic issues I was approximately 7 minutes late. When I entered the office there was a gentleman with a receptionist discussing his concerns so I waited. There were 2 other person's behind the check in desk that were in a discussion. After they finished one of them greeted me. After checking in which took another 5 minutes she asked me to take a seat. While waiting she asked me to come up to the desk and told me Dr Vaughn would not see me because of my tardiness of a total of 14 minutes. She rescheduled me for another appointment so I asked if I was on time would Dr Vaughn see me at the time scheduled. Her response was it depends. This past summer I was scheduled to see Dr Vaughn. When I arrived they told me I did not have an appointment. When is presented the appointment card she apologized asaid the doctor could not take me so I rescheduled I figured it was just a mistake. No big deal. Today finalized my opinion of a poor organization. In addition my wife experienced the same. Appearing for a scheduled appointment and was told she wasn't on the schedule. Try this place out and enjoy the experience.
